Monica POV:
Today we're all going shopping for the trip and we're so last minute. It's Monday and leave on Friday and we're just now going to the mall. We have to do better!

I walked from my side of the house and went to the kids side of the house to see if they were ready. I went into Rodney's room first.

"You ready rock?" I asked while knocking before walking into his room

"Yes. I just need to put on my cologne" he said

"Ok, when you're finished go downstairs please" I said

"Ok" he said and I left his room and went to Romelo's room

"Melo, you ready" I said walking into his room

"Yes, I just need angel to help me decide which shoe to wear" he said

"I can help you since I'm already here" I said

"I'll get both of y'all's opinion then. Which one?" He asked holding up an all black shoe and a black and red shoe

"Wear the black and red shoes since your shirt has a little red in it" I said

"Ok, can you tell Angel to come here" he asked

"Yes" I said walking out of room and I took my phone out to call Angel because I didn't feel like walking back to the other side of the house just to tell her that Melo wanted her.

Angel: hey baby, what's wrong? We're in the same house
Monica: hey, I know but Melo asked me to tell you to come to his room so you can help him pick which shoes he should wear but I was too lazy to walk back to that side of the house so I just called you instead.
Angel: ok, I'm going to his room now.
Monica: ok, after you help him can you tell him to go downstairs
Angel: yes
Monica: thank you baby
Angel: no problem

I hung up the phone and went to Laiyah's room. I saved her for last because she takes the longest out of everybody to get ready so I figured if I went to her room last it would give her some extra time to get herself together.

I made it to her room and went inside and she was fully dressed surprisingly. She was in the bathroom doing her edges.

"Almost ready mama" I asked

"Yes, after I finish my edges I just have to put on my lipgloss and then I'll be ready" she said

"Ok, when you're done go downstairs for me please" I said

"Ok momma" she said and I left her room and went back to my room to finish getting ready. I was already dressed I just needed to add the finishing touches.

I made it back to my room and Angel was in the bathroom doing her makeup which is just blush, lip liner, and lip gloss.

"You look good" I said while walking to my closet to get my shoes

"Thank you bae. You look good too" she said

"Thank you baby" I said while sitting down on the couch in my room to put my shoes on

"How will I know what to shop for if you won't tell me where we're going?" She asked

"I know what you need to shop for so telling you where we're going won't make a difference." I said

"Ugh! just tell me" she said while pouting

"No baby, you'll find out when we get there" I said

"You're no fun" she said

"Let's go before I show you how much fun I am" I said

"I'm going to hold you to that tonight" she said
