Wednesday's POV:

I stare at my phone screen as I wait for Enid to answer my texts once again. It has been like an hour since classes ended and she isn't back in the dorm yet. It's causing worry to stir up inside me.

My fingers snap quietly at my side as I figure out what to do. But just then, the door is swung open and a high-pitched voice speaks.

"Hiya, my amazing, smart, hot-ass girlfriend!"

I raise a brow before standing up and whipping around. The wolf runs at me and hugs me tightly.

I smell weed on her clothes and furrow my eyebrows. Once I pried her off of me, I sat her on my bed. "What the hell is going on with you?" I question. "Why are you high?"

"Oh, you want some?" Her face brightens up, completely ignoring my questions. She sticks something in my face and I quickly push the blunt away.

"How in the world did you get that?" I ask, angrily.

"Some dealer." She mumbles, taking a lighter out of her pocket to light it.

I snatch the lighter and the blunt away from her and slam it down on my desk. "Why'd you do that?"

"Because I'm dumb and no one likes me and who cares and..." Enid begins to trail off.

I roll my eyes and shake my head, pinching the bridge of my nose with my fingers. "Is this about Yoko?"

Her lips purse and she slowly nods her head, tears welling up in her eyes. "I just wanted to get high with you and forget about everything." She sniffles.

Okay, enough of getting sidetracked. "Talk to me about Yoko," I demand gently.

"Me made her angry and me didn't mean to and me wanna cry." The wolf sobs, falling onto my shoulder.

I inhale softly through my nose with a rough exhale. This girl is getting on my nerves. "Speak normally, Enid," I grunt through gritted teeth.

After a few long, patient testing minutes, I finally understood what happened. Apparently, Bianca did something to Yoko and Divina and since she's back, it caused Yoko to blow up at Enid. Yeah, sure, makes perfect sense.

"Okay, no more smoking. Got it? It's bad for you." I point in her face as I speak firmly.

She nods and apologizes. "I won't do it again. I just got carried away and didn't know what I was doing." Enid says slowly.

"Good, come here." I spread my arms out and she dives right into them, squeezing me tightly.

I sigh and rub her back gently, laying my head on her shoulder as my body relaxes. Her touch always makes me feel different.

And I never want it to end.

I do soon pull away though, not being able to take too much color in one sitting. I cup the wolf's face and wipe away the stray tears that had fallen.

"I'm going to go talk to Yoko, stay here, okay?" I tell her. Before I leave, I grab the blunt on my desk to keep it away from her.

Right before I close the door, I hear a small damnit slip from her mouth. A smirk appears on my face as I start down the hallway.

She thought.

I approach the vampire's door and I don't bother being generous. I bang on the door a few times with my fist before it swings open.

"Yo, what the fuck?" She yells, looking at me with furrowed brows.

I let myself in and slammed the door closed, spinning around to look at her with my arms folded.
