A Week Later: 

Hazels Pov: 

Things are going well so far. I got my first salary, and I firstly paid off my house rent then my grandma's medications, I saved some money and spent a little on myself like buying some makeup, dresses, skincare shopping also ordering food from out. Even when I spent half of it, I still have a lot more remaining which is a good thing. As usual I was working but I didn't feel like working. My head was hurting, and I was sneezing every now & then even my temperature was a bit warm. I didn't pay much attention and continued to work. Mr. & Mrs. Hernandez were out for an event. I was alone in the mansion with Mr. Daniel not alone, Lilly was here too but when her work was done, she went to the maid's quarter. I prepared Mr. Daniel's coffee and went to give him; he was in the living room sitting with is mac book. 

Daniels Pov: 

I was checking my emails when I heard Hazel call me. I looked up to see her looking pretty like always. I smiled and took the coffee cup from her hands. Our hands slightly brushed against each other; a wave of spark was felt inside my body. 

Daniel: "How's your day going so far Hazel?" 

I asked in a soft calm tone. I frowned my eyebrows when I saw her holding her head groaning in pain. I got up from the couch to look after her. Her eyes were staring to get closed, so I quickly went and held her in arms before she fell down. Her head fell on my shoulder with her eyes completely closed. 

Daniel: "Hazel? Hazel wake up" 

I tapped her cheek lightly, but she didn't move an inch. I checked her temperature which seemed hot. Without wasting a single minute, I quickly carried her towards my room in bridal style. I laid her down on the bed then covered her with blanket. I put thermometer inside her mouth, later when I checked she is having quite high fever. I took a wet cloth and placed it on her forehead I did it for a few times before taking some meds and feeding her. It soon started to rain with loud thunder noises. I noticed her slightly shivering from cold winds passing by. I took out a hoodie from my wardrobe before making her wear it. I massaged her legs and head for a few minutes. Later I got a call from my parents saying they won't be coming home today due to rain and traffic. I said them to be safe and stay at a hotel. I looked at the time which showed 10:05 I thought of sleeping too. I laid down beside Hazel, covering her more with the blanket. Her temperature seemed to go down. 

Authors Pov: 

As the night was passing by, the couple on the bed grew closer to each other under the blankets to seek warmth with cold winds passing by with slight rain. Daniel wrapped his hand around Hazel's shoulder while she turns to his side hugging him by his waist snuggling into his neck. He holds her close to himself even in the sleep he rubs her back gently to keep her warm. It was now morning. The rain hadn't stopped it was foggy and dark outside. Hazel slowly starts to wake up, her eyes fluttering she feels a bit groggy but immediately senses that someone is next to her. She gasps a little loudly to see Daniel side of her. She gets up a little from her sleeping position. Daniel also opens his eyes. 

Daniel: "Hey! how are you feeling now?"   

Hazel: "I... W-what happened to me?"

Daniel: "You fainted, and had high fever I took care of you" 

Hazel: "I-I'm sorry to put you in trouble sir" 

His eyes soften. Daniel moves a little towards her his hand cupping her right cheek lovingly looking in her eyes with a soft smile. 

Daniel: "You didn't cause me trouble...I was scared when you fainted but I'm glad you're okay now!" 

She smiles, her pretty smile reaching up to her cheeks & eyes making him smile more. 

Daniel: "You should get dressed I'll make you some food you can have it with medicine" 

Hazel:  "No I'll go home I'm okay now" 

Daniel: "I insist Hazel...Please" 

His eyes beg her to stay she thinks for few seconds before nodding. 

Daniel: "I'll go downstairs so you can have privacy" 

she nods. He walked out of the room she too gets down from the bed and went to brush her teeth. Later she made the bed before coming down. Daniel already prepared delicious tomato soup with warm bread and orange juice. Her heart swells seeing him doing so much for her. She couldn't help but feel something for him. The way he cared for her, made sure she's comfortable, prepared food for her, the way he talks in a soft tone with her, the way his eyes soften for her, the way he smiles when she's with him. All these feelings felt different for both of them. Daniel enjoyed this feeling whereas Hazel was confused.

He pulled out a chair for her and made her sit before sitting beside her. Hazel tasted the soup and hummed in satisfaction; Daniel smiled at her response.  

Daniel: "Is it good?" 

she nods with a smile. 

Hazel: "I didn't know you cook" 

He chuckles lightly looking down with a shy smile which made him look so adorable that's what Hazel was thinking. 

Daniel: "I do know how to cook I try cooking for myself sometimes" 

She nods with a smile while admiring him. They made conversations while she was eating. He made her laugh, feel comfortable Hazel couldn't help but fall for him. As the time was coming close, she felt sad not wanting to leave him. 

Daniel: "Shall we go?" 

she nods. They step outside the house; Daniel opens the umbrella making sure Hazel doesn't get wet. He holds her by her shoulders making sure she's safe. His kind action made her like him more. He opened the car door for her then went and sat on the driver's seat. As today is Sunday the maids get a holiday. In a while they reached her house. she gets down from the car turning to look at him. 

Hazel: "Thank you for everything sir" 

she smiles cutely. 

Daniel: "No worries, Hazel" 

He smiles back. For few seconds they just stand and stare into each other's eyes, their eyes said everything which words couldn't express. 

Hazel: "I-I think I should go" 

He snaps out of his thoughts and nods. 

Daniel: "Bye meet you tomorrow" 

Hazel: "Bye sir, have a good day and drive safe" 

He nods with a smile. She turned around to go but he held her wrist and pulled her back for a hug. She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck tip toeing as she hugged him. He holds his waist snuggling his face into her hair and hugged her tight.
