Few Days Later: 

Hazels Pov:

These few days were so good for me!! Me and Daniel spent so much of time together. We got to know each other very well. He always makes me feel so comfortable and happy. I don't know if I should have a liking towards him. He's just so awesome I can't stop myself. But does he feel the same thing for me? or is it just me? I'm too delusional! Today is Suday and apparently Daniel's friends are coming over for a small house party by the pool so as usual Mrs. Hernandez gave all the responsibilities to me and Lilly, without wasting time, we started to get things ready. Early in the morning me & Lilly cleaned the pool and back yard nicely. We asked for the list of foods then began preparing them along with the other maids. 

Few Hours Later: 

The little party began Jake, Emma, Robert and his new girlfriend Elizabet with few other guys & girls were present.  Hazel's working diligently, ensuring everyone's having a good time. While she was making more juice someone came from behind, she looked up to see Jake smiling at her. 

Jake: "Hey!!" 

Hazel: "Hi!! How are you sir?" 

Jake: "I'm perfectly fine! How are you? You know how much I've missed you?" 

She chuckles at his statement. 

Hazel: "Some more juice?" 

Jake: "You made it so why not?" 

She chuckled once more and poured some more into his glass. 

Hazel: "Are you enjoying so far?"

Jake: "Trying to" 

She nods while smiling. Later while they were in middle of a conversation, he gets to attend a call, so he excused himself and went away. Meanwhile Lilly came side of her playfully bumping her shoulder. 

Lilly: "Girl he's into you I can see" 

Her eyes widen and she laughs it off. 

Hazel: "Are you crazy? I'm just a maid and he's a millionaire" 

Lilly: "So what? Maids are allowed to fall in love" 

Hazel: "You're thinking too much there's nothing between us we are just good friends I think" 

Lilly: "You think? still a chance?" 

Hazel: "No Lilly, I don't even know if he sees me as his friend" 

Lilly: "Of course he does!! the way he looks at you, talks with you, smiles & laughs, the way he hugged you!! He's into you Hazel" 

Her eyes then suddenly met Daniel's. He softly smiled at her which made her weak in the knees she smiled back like a teenage girl who just got noticed by her crush. 

Lilly: "Hazel are you listening to me?" 

Hazel: "Huh...oh uh..S-sorry no I-I'm..Lilly, I don't feel anything towards Jake he's just a nice man"

She rolls her eyes sassily. 

Lilly: "Fine" 

Time passes by really quick, most of the people start to leave and the maids start to clean the mess. Hazel began picking up all the empty glasses which were lying on the ground. She picked almost all of it but then goes to the other side to pick the remaining. As she's collecting empty glasses, Robert, who's a little tipsy, decides to play a mean prank. He intentionally sticks his leg out, causing Hazel to trip and lose her balance. Hazel topples forward, heading straight for the pool. She reaches her hand out for someone to catch. Daniel who was speaking with Jake noticed her falling into the pool. Daniel's sharp senses kick in, and he instantly surges forward, diving into the pool to catch her. He goes inside fully and sees her struggling to come out he forwarded his hand and pulled her towards him. Then he quickly pulls her up to get some air. As Daniel dives into the pool, Emma, his future fiancé, watches the scene unfold. Seeing him save Hazel, she can't help but feel a pang of jealousy. Her eyes narrow, and a small frown appears on her face. She feels a mix of confusion and possessiveness, wondering why Daniel acted so swiftly to rescue Hazel. 

When Daniel pulls, Hazel out of the pool, she's soaking wet and shivering, her teeth chattering from the cold. Without thinking, she clings tightly onto him, seeking warmth and support. The contact sends a jolt through Daniel's body, and he can feel her trembling against him. Hazel gasps for her air while he rubs her back trying to calm her down. As Daniel helps Hazel to get out from the pool he notices the smug look on Robert's face, clearly indicating that he was responsible for Hazel's fall. Anger flares up inside Daniel, and he turns to face Robert, eyes narrowed, and jaw clenched. He confronts Robert, his voice low but stern. 

Daniel: "What the hell was that? You did that on purpose, didn't you?" 

Daniel's irritation is palpable as he confronts Robert, and his voice carries a sharp edge.
He glares at Robert. 

Daniel: "Seriously, Robert? What possessed you to pull a stunt like that? Pushing Hazel into the pool? That was a jerk move!" 

Robert tries to defend himself, offering a sly smirk. 

Robert: "Oh, lighten up, man. It was just a harmless prank. No harm done."

Daniel clenches his fists, his anger building as he responds to Robert's nonchalance. 

Daniel: "Harmless prank? Look at her! She's cold and wet now. And for what? A cheap laugh?" 

Daniel takes a step forward, his body tense, ready to confront Robert further. However, he sees Hazel shivering His protective instincts kick in, and he turns his focus back to her instead of engaging in a full-blown argument with Robert. Lilly brings a towel and covers her with it. 

Daniel: "It's ok Hazel! Let's get you changed" 

He speaks in a soft tone; his tone suddenly changes while talking to her.
