The Next Day: 

Hazels Pov: 

As usual I got up, wore my clothes and quietly went downstairs with my sore kind off shaky legs he was wild last night. On the way I met Mrs. Hernandez, I started to panic but tried to stay calm. 

Hazel: "Go-Good morning mam"  

Mrs. Hernandez: "What are you doing here so early?" 

Hazel: "Um..I-I woke up early so I thought of collecting the clothes from the laundry which are already washed" 

She hummed looking at me from up and down. I bowed a little before quickly running away to my room. Oh god that was so close!! I took normal deep breaths then reached my room and took a nice warm shower for my sore body before doing my usual morning routine and going to the mansion with Lilly. Everyone gathered for breakfast, but I stayed in as the HM asked me to slice the meat pieces for lunch, so I was alone slicing the meat pieces in the kitchen while I was busy in my work I heard them yelling at each other in loud voices more like arguing you can say. 

Mrs. Hernandez: "How can you say you don't want to marry Emma?" 

Daniel: "Because I don't want to mom!! I never loved her" 

He yelled back. 

Mrs. Hernandez: "Love will automatically happen after marriage son try to understand" 

Daniel: "Mom why don't you try to once understand my feelings?" 

I could feel the pain in his voice it makes me sad. 

Mr. Hernandez: "What should we say to Mr. & Mrs. Jordan?!!" 

Daniel: "Your more worried about your image than the feelings of your own son!!!" 

I flinched when I heard the voice of plate breaking.

Mr. Hernandez: "Don't you dare yell at me Daniel" 

Daniel: "I will dad, if you won't listen to my opinion" 

Mr. Hernandez: "You have disappointed me a lot"

I saw Mr. Hernandez walking away then Mrs. Hernandez followed him not before giving Daniel a look of disappointment. I began thinking about everything because of me, his relationship with his parents is going to spoil I should just leave him I know it's not an easy decision, but I have to harden my heart and let him ago maybe we were never meant to be together. Destiny had other plans. Later I sat in the garden while Lilly was cleaning, she was talking but I was drowned into my thoughts suddenly she walked away I looked up to see Daniel entering I got up facing him. 

Hazel: "I-I..want to say something" 

Daniel: "Go on" 

He said while looking into my eyes. 

Author's Pov: 

Hazel: "I... I think you should say...yes to the proposal" 

She says with eyes down hesitantly Daniel's eyes widen in surprise at her words, his heart clenching painfully. He didn't expect Hazel to say that. 

Daniel: "What? you want me to say yes to the proposal?" 

He asks, his voice hoarse. She nods her own eyes moist with emotion. 

Hazel: "I know it's difficult for the both of us...b-but it's the best for the both of us" 

Daniel shakes his head, his eyes filled with frustration and pain. 

Daniel: "How? How can you say it's the best for us when it's tearing me apart from inside?"

She looks into his eyes no longer; her tears began falling causing pain in his heart. 

Daniel: "Sweetheart I don't want to be with someone. I want only you" 

Hazel: "The more I'm getting close to you..it's hurting me" 

Daniel's heart breaks seeing Hazel crying, the pain in her eyes mirroring his own pain. He steps forward, closing the distance between the two. 

Daniel: "I know it hurts but don't you see being away from you hurts me more than anything?" 

Hazel: "Please don't spoil what you have, what you are because of me" 

She looks down and began to cry, his heart aches seeing her cry like her. He reached out gently and lifts up her chin gently looking into her eyes. 

Daniel: "But don't you understand? you're the only thing that matters to me. Everything else...it's nothing without you" 

Hazel: "what about your reputation? Your going to spoil it because of me" 

Daniel's expression hardens with a mix of frustration and desperation, he grabs her arm gently yet firmly making her face him. 

Daniel: "To hell with my reputation!! I don't care about any of that if it means losing you, you're the only thing that I care about. We'll find a way sweetheart, I promise" 

His eyes turn soft looking to her eyes, she says slowly with lack of hop. 

Hazel: "Your parents will be disappointed Daniel" 

Daniel: "Damn my parents and their disappointment I don't care about their expectations or arrangements. I want YOU, not some other woman. I'd much rather be a disappointment to them then lose you" 

She smiles seeing how much he actually loves and wants her. He smiles back a little as their lips are about to meet, they hear a loud voice which makes them frozen on their place. 

??: "Daniel!!!"
