Anyone But You~

Mrs. Hernandez: "I have invited Mr. & Mrs. Jordan over tomorrow for dinner to discuss about your wedding with Emma" 

Hazels hands tremor causing the spoon filled with sugar to fall on the tray creating a noise not too loud but enough to catch their attention. 

Mrs. Hernandez: "Hazel what are you doing? Work with your eyes open this is not what I pay you for" 

Daniel clenched his jaw when his mom scolded Hazel. He wanted to say something but stopped. He knew why Hazel reacted this way, his eyes soften when he saw her face, her moist eyes were making him sad. 

Hazel: "I'm sorry mam I will clean it up" 

She took the tray and went back inside quickly. 

Mr. Hernandez: "Daniel did you hear your mom?" 

Daniel: "Mom-" 

Mrs. Hernandez: "Daniel please don't say anything I had enough of your refusing whatever you want to say, say it tomorrow" 

Daniel: "Fine" 

I got up and started walking to my room. 

Mrs. Hernandez: "Your coffee" 

Daniel: "Not in the mood" 

I replied and came to my room falling on the bed. My mind was occupied by Hazel the way she reacted when the mention of my wedding with Emma came. Meanwhile Hazel in the kitchen took deep breaths to calm herself she knew it was going to happen someday, but she could not accept the reality.  

Hazel: "I love him too much to let him go" 

Her mind was occupied with lots and lots of thoughts. 

Hazel: "Get yourself together Hazel he will never be yours...I am just a maid" 

She reminded herself she can't come between two people who are going to be tied together. 

Hazel: "I should stop this feeling...I-I should just ignore him" 

The Next Day: 

It was evening now Mr.& Mrs. Hernandez welcomed Emma and her parents inside making them sit in the living room. Lilly went and served them water while they were having a conversation. 

Mrs. Hernandez: "Lilly go and inform Daniel that the guest are here" 

Lilly: "Yes mam" 

She bowed her head and went into the kitchen to keep the tray of course she didn't want to go call him she saw Hazel making salad. 

Lilly: "Hazel can you go inform Daniel sir that the guest are here I have to serve them tea" 

Hazel hesitated for a bit but nodded going upstairs. She knocked onto the door waiting for him to let her, in a few seconds she heard him say 'come in' so she pushed the door and went in to see him buttoning his shirt. 

Daniels Pov: 

I saw Hazel through the mirror. 

Hazel: "Sir mam is calling you downstairs" 

Daniel: "I'll be there in a minute" 

she turned around to go but I stopped her. 

Daniel: "Hazel can you make my tie before leaving?" 

She nodded and came to me standing Infront of me. She started making my tie while I looked at her. 

Daniel: "You always do it perfectly" 

Hazel: *chuckles* "Thank you sir" 

Daniel: "how come I can't do it myself?" 

Hazel: "I'm here to help you sir after all you pay me"
