Anyone But You~

The vacation was all over, everyone packed up ready to leave for their homes. Hazel was filling up the trunk when Robert came from the side, she turned around and kept a straight face. He leaned in. 

Robert: "You have done a huge mistake by hurting my ego sweetheart" 

she frowned her eyebrows. 

Hazel: "I didn't like your touch!! is it wrong to admit the truth?" 

she sarcastically smiled at him. He clenched his jaw looking at her attitude. No longer than Daniel came beside her. 

Daniel: "You need anything Robert?" 

He quickly changed his expression to a smiling one.

Daniel: "I don't want you to be around her!! you got that understood?" 

He said in a deep, low, dangerous voice which scared Robert to the core. He nodded and went away. 

Emma: "Uh Daniel I won't be coming in your car...I-I have to go to the airport" 

Daniel: "Is everything okay?" 

Emma: "Yeah just work emergency" 

He nodded and let her go. Later after everything was packed and kept, they drove off with Hazel in Daniel's car and Lilly went off with Jake. While driving Daniel stole a few glances at Hazel who was looking out with happy eyes. He smiled slightly seeing her. 

Daniel: "You like nature?" 

she nodded with a huge smile. 

Hazel: "It calms me and gives me a reason to live" 

He nodded with a light chuckle. 

Later: 

The sun was starting to set as they were getting closer to home. Hazel was very tired with all house chores, walking, lifting heavy bags which made her doze off to sleep while leaning on the window. Daniel noticed her snuggling due to cold, so he took his blazer from the backseat and covered her with it. she slept more comfortably now. A while later she moved in her sleep and rested her head on his shoulder, he was surprised but secretly liked it. She hugged his arm sleeping very comfortably. He chuckled seeing her getting so comfortable. 

Later after 30 minutes they finally reached the mansion, but Hazel was still asleep. 

Daniel: "Hazel" 

He called her softly in a low voice. She quickly opened her eyes and looked up then she realized she's been sleeping on his shoulder the whole ride. 

Hazel: "I-I... I'm sorry" 

He chuckled shaking his head with a smile. 

Daniel: "It's fine, you were too tired I guess" 

she nodded with a shy embarrassed smile. He tucked her hair strand behind her ear. 

Daniel: "shall we get down" 

she nodded with slightly red cheeks; he smiled once again before getting down. She noticed she had a blazer on and looked confused. 

Daniel: "You were feeling cold, so I wrapped it around you" 

Hazel: "Oh thank you" 

Daniel: "It's fine" 

Jake came and saw her wearing his blazer which made him jealous, but it brushed it off. 

Jake: "Hey Hazel!!" 

She smiled and waved at him. 

Jake: "I'm leaving for my home, so I wanted to say bye" 

Hazel: "Oh really?" 

Jake: "Yeah!! It was great to know you I had fun spending time with you" 

She nodded back with a smile. 

Hazel: "Me too sir! you're a lovely person" 

He chuckled and came forward to hug her, he wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her closer, she tips toed and hugged him back by wrapping her hands around his neck. 

Jake: "I'll miss you" 

He pulled apart. Meanwhile Daniel stood there watching them he didn't like the way Jake was smiling at her and the way they hugged each other it annoyed him. 

Jake: "See you man!!" 

They shook hands exchanging a bro hug. 

Daniel: "Drive safe" 

He nodded and went to his car not before turning back to look at Hazel once again. 

Hazel: "Uh...I-I wanted to tell you something" 

Daniel: "Sure!!"  

Hazel: "Thank you" 

Daniel: "For what?" 

Hazel: "For taking care of me when I injured my ankle" 

He chuckled. 

Daniel: "It's fine, you don't need to thank me" 

Hazel: "Still I felt guilty for not saying it earlier" 

Daniel: "It was just a simple act of kindness you know?!" 

She nodded with a smile. 

Hazel: "Um..y-you should take your blazer back"  

She removed it from around her shoulders and handed it to him. He liked seeing her wearing his blazer she looked absolutely cute and tiny which made her look so very adorable and cute. He nodded and took it back in his hands. 

Hazel: "We should go in" 

He nodded. She turned around and started walking inside while he walked behind her. He smelled his blazer which smelled exactly like her like vanilla & coco. 

Daniel: "I'm never going to wash it now" 

He said and chuckled to himself.
