The Next Morning: 

Hazels Pov: 

I woke up and as usual got ready then went to the mansion along with Lilly. I woke up early since it's a new place and I couldn't sleep really well but I knew I had to adjust & get comfortable. We went to the kitchen and made breakfast first then I cleaned the dining table before serving food. Then I vacuumed the living room while other 2 maids vacuumed upstairs while I was doing my work, I heard someone call me I turned around to see Daniel sir standing with a tie in his hands. 

Hazel: "Good morning, sir" 

He smiled and forwarded his tie. I dusted my hands on the apron before taking the tie and tying it. 

Daniel: "Thank you" 

I nodded he then went away to the dining room, after my work was done, I too went. I stood there and made a few eye contacts with him which made butterflies appear in my stomach. Suddenly Mrs. Hernandez asked me something. 

Mrs. Hernandez: "Hazel Miller I heard from the head maid that you got shifted in the maid's quarter" 

Hazel: "Yes mam, I did" 

Mrs. Hernandez: "And Daniel, you helped her in getting sifted" 

I got tensed when she said that I looked at him with a worried look, but he gave me a reassuring look then spoke. 

Daniel: "Yes mom actually her grandma passed away yesterday she was the only family which she had now that there's no one she decided to shift and came to me for help" 

His mom nodded. 

Mrs. Hernandez: "Okay! that's fine! and Daniel your birthday is next week so I'm throwing a party I already made a list of the people whom I'm going to invite" 

Authors Pov: 

Daniel sighed clearly not happy with his mom's decision of hosting a party for his birthday. 

Daniel: "Mom...you know I don't like those kind of stuff" 

Mr. Hernandez: "Why? what's wrong with a party? it's your birthday after all" 

Mrs. Hernandez: "Exactly!! it's a day which needs to be celebrated" 

Daniel: "But all the people who come are fake...they just come for business not like they really want to come" 

Mrs. Hernandez: "You need to do these all for business dear, try to understand" 

He sighed once more knowing it's of no use to argue with his mom. 

Daniel: "Fine just do what you want to do!" 

He says and cleans his lips with the tablecloth before getting up and walking away. 

Daniel: "Excuse me" 

He coldly said & walked out of the mansion to sit in his car and drive to work. Hazel felt sad for me it's his special day and he isn't allowed to plan the way he wants it to be and moreover he didn't even complete his breakfast. 

Mr. Hernandez: "Honey don't worry about his behavior, he's just like this" 

He said while placing a hand on her shoulder. She nodded with a small smile. 

A WHILE LATER: 

Hazels Pov: 

I was cleaning the garden as it was all scattered with dry leaves if Mrs. Hernandez sees this, she will definitely get angry and scold us.  I was doing my work quietly when I heard the head maid calling everyone to gather around the quarter. We all went and stood there. 

Mrs. Hernandez: "So I want to make an announcement listen carefully...Next week is my son's birthday so I'm hosting a party in the mansion a lot of people are going to be invited so I want you all to handle the food, decorations and gifts I'll inform the head maid about what needs to be done you'll get to know your part of the work so work with your eyes open if I spot a single mistake know that it's your last day in this mansion" 

We all nodded and said, 'Yes mam' 

Mrs. Hernandez: "Dismiss" 

She walked away; we all too went back to our work. Later in the evening me and Lilly were outside sitting when the head maid came to us. 

HM: "Hazel your work is to serve the guest, prepare the flower Boquete and help in making drinks" 

She handed me a paper where my work was written I nodded and took the paper. 

HM: "Lilly you will be serving the guest as well also helping in the decorations and do the after cleaning" 

she handed her paper. 

Lilly: "Ugh after cleaning is so tiring please give me some other work" 

HM: "Sorry everything is decided but don't worry we are also getting bonus" 

she went away. 

Lilly: "Bonus is fine but these rich people are mannerless they leave the place all dirty" 

I chuckled at her. 

Hazel: "Think about the bonus Lilly Willy" 

She nodded, her eyes shining by the name. 

Lilly: "Girl as we are getting bonus why don't we go out then? I mean Sunday is an off day for us so let's go out for some shopping and lunch" 

Hazel: "Okay let's do it" 

We did a high five. After some talking and work, we went back to our room changed and slept like pigs.
