X woke up that morning to hear murmuring coming from his living room. He yawned, got ready, and then walked into his joint living/dining room to see Four and Two sleepily conversing.

Well, Two was sleepy. Four looked like he'd woken up normally a couple hours ago.

Two mumbled something, slowly nodding off, only to be re-awoken by a whack to his head by Four's tail.

"Four! Did you keep Two awake the entire night?" X exclaimed. Four nodded absentmindedly, most of his focus on the raw energy floating in between his outstretched hands, while Two didn't even register the sentence.

"Four! Four, hello? Are you even listening?" X questioned. Four sighed.

"I heard you the first time, starshine. What's up?' Four called back.

"Did you really keep Two up the entire night? Let him sleep, he looks so tired!' X said, getting increasingly more worried. Four shifted his hands slightly, and the blob of energy in his hands took the shape of a cube.

"He'll be fine, sweetheart. Demons are supposed to be nocturnal, he's just not used to it." Four explained. Two in the meantime mumbled another string of gibberish, and Four whacked him again.

X raised an eyebrow, coming up to sit next to the blue deity. "Are you sure it's ALL demons, or just you?" Four chuckled.

"Darling, you're the only person I've ever deprived of sleep, I promise. Other than myself of course, but when you're me, sleep becomes a trivial matter." Four reassured. Four turned their gaze to X, casually shrinking down the energy and swallowing it.

"Well, it's morning. Let him take a nap." X insisted. In response, Four nudged the green demon with his wing, hard enough to awaken Two for a couple moments.

"Two, go to sleep. Anywhere, really. It's not my house, so I don't care." Four spoke in parts, and Two immediately leaped on the couch, curling up and falling asleep in seconds.

X sighed in relief before turning to Four. "As for you, Foury..." X started ominously. Four raised an eyebrow in question.

The human stood up "...You're going to sleep too. Sleep deprivation is very bad." X concluded, wiggling a finger at Four. The demon barked a sarcastic laugh.

"And how are you going to do that, honey? I hope you understand that you can't exactly force me to sleep." Four murmured, standing up to tower above X.

X furrowed his eyebrows together in a frown. He knew he wouldn't be able to manhandle Four into taking a nap- Four was much stronger than him and he was a demon too.

So of course he was going to disregard that information.

"Well, then I challenge you to a duel!" X exclaims confidently. Four chuckles darkly.

"A duel, hm? If you say so, darling~" The blue deity grinned, his sharp teeth on full display.

X counts off the rules on his fingers. "Okay. No hurting each other, no using objects or powers, and if you lose, you sleep!" X finished triumphantly.

"And if I win? A duel goes two ways, X." Four plays along.

"Well, you can decide that, because I don't know what you want." X replied. Four put on a thoughtful look.

"If I win, I want you to kiss me." the demon joked smugly.

X looked up at him, and without hesitation, answered.

"Alright."

Four paused at the answer. It wasn't exactly like he could take it back, anyway His tail whipped challengingly behind him, wings spreading slightly as X counted down.
