The next day, Pietro couldn't wait to take Dino back home. At the same time, his heart was burning with pain because Caterina had broken up with him. He didn't want to lose Dino or Caterina. Pietro didn't know whether to talk to Caterina again and beg her not to cancel the wedding or respect her wishes. Finally, he decided not to speak to her as she told him she didn't want to marry him.

Even thinking about it broke his heart, but he had nothing to do about that. Dino existed. He couldn't go back in time and change what had happened sixteen years ago.

Dino was happy to hear that he could go back home again. In the evening, Pietro came to the hospital with some clothes for Dino.

"How are you now?" Pietro asked.

"I'm okay now," Dino said. Of course, he wasn't going to say anything negative. He didn't want to stay in the hospital for another single minute.

Dino looked at Pietro's face secretly. He wondered if he was still the same person as last night.

"Let's go home. I have something important to tell you," Pietro said, looking into Dino's eyes.

Dino wondered what Pietro was going to tell him. 'Is he going to send me back to Johnson's house?' Dino thought, and sudden anxiety came to his mind.

While they were riding home, Dino looked at Pietro's face several times, wanting to ask if he would send him back to Johnson's. But he was afraid to ask it.

"Why are you looking at me constantly? Do you want something?" Pietro asked Dino softly, and Dino couldn't believe his ears. 'Why is he like this suddenly?' Dino thought.

"Are you going to send me back?" Dino asked.

"Send you back where?" Pietro asked.

"To Johnsen's house?" Dino asked.

"Why the hell would I want to do that?" Pietro asked, looking at Dino like he was stupid.

"Because... because of what happened last night?" Dino asked.

"Are you talking about you getting sick or Caterina canceling our wedding?" Pietro asked. He sounded normal now. His natural sound was not soft and kind.

"Did she cancel the wedding? I'm... I'm sorry. But why?" Dino asked.

"Because she knew about you," Pietro said, looking forward.

"About me?" Dino asked, feeling confused. Then he realized what Pietro was talking about. 'Maybe Caterina was upset to know that Pietro has a son.' Dino wondered if Pietro knew that Dino knew that Pietro was his father.

"I have something important to tell you, Dino," Pietro said, looking at Dino. "I'm your Papa," Pietro said.

Dino waited anxiously to hear the important part, then felt disappointed to hear something he already knew.

"You don't look surprised," Pietro said with surprise.

"Ah... I already found out that you are my Papa," Dino said.

"Who told you?" Pietro asked nervously.

Suddenly, Dino's eyes went to the passenger seat. Luca was in the passenger seat, and he remembered that Luca had asked him not to tell Pietro that he was the one who told Dino that Pietro was his father. Dino saw Luca turn his face a little to the side to look back.

"Rocco," Dino said. It wasn't a lie. Rocco had also told Dino that Pietro was his father.

"So you knew it this whole time?" Pietro asked, shocked.

"Since yesterday evening," Dino corrected.

After that conversation, they didn't talk about anything until they came home. Dino was happy to return home and went to his room, hoping to have some "me time" in his room. But Pietro followed him to his room.

"Why did you eat shrimp? Did you try to commit suicide?" Pietro asked, looking at Dino. Dino felt slightly uncomfortable with Pietro standing closer to him, placing his hand on his shoulder. 'Is he going to slap me across the face?' Dino wondered.

"I... it was...," Dino muttered nervously.

"You are deadly allergic to shellfish. Why did you eat shrimp?" Pietro asked again.

"I didn't know they were allergic, sir. I have never eaten them before," Dino said with fear. He wondered what kind of punishment Pietro was going to give him now. 'Is he going to punish me the same way Johnson's punished me?'

Dino stared at Pietro with big eyes, looking terrified and pale. Pietro wondered why Dino appeared so scared.

"Dino, are you okay? Why do you look scared?" Pietro asked. He was surprised to hear that Dino hadn't eaten any shellfish before. But he was concerned about why Dino was scared like this.

"Are you going to punish me for what I did last night?" Dino asked, still looking at Pietro.

"Because you got an allergic reaction? Are you mad, Dino? Who the hell punishes someone for getting sick?" Pietro asked, confused, and Dino looked down.

Then Pietro remembered what the doctor had told him. The doctor had told him about the bruises on Dino's body.

"Can you remove your t-shirt and denim?" Pietro said to Dino, and Dino looked at Pietro, shocked. 'Okay, he's going to hit me,' Dino thought. Dino didn't ask questions and slowly removed his t-shirt and denim, waiting for punishment.

"What are these?" Pietro gently ran his fingers over Dino's skin where the bruise marks were.

"They're just...,"

"Who did this? The Johnsons?" Pietro didn't wait for Dino to answer and said.

Dino waited a few seconds and nodded his head to say yes. Pietro's face turned red, and his eyes looked like they were burning with anger.

"Luca," Pietro called out, and Luca came in.

"Look at this. Look at this well. I want those Johnsons to have bruises in the same places on their bodies," Pietro told Luca, showing Dino's skin. Dino looked at Pietro and Luca with confusion.

"Sure, boss," Luca said, smirking as if he finally had a task he would enjoy doing.

"No, sir, you...,"

"You better not call me sir again, Dino. I'm your Papa, and you call me Papa," Pietro pointed his finger at Dino and demanded. "Do you understand that?"

"Yes, s... Papa," Dino said.

Pietro felt strange when a 16-year-old boy called him Papa. He tried not to show it, though.

"Okay, now put your clothes back on. Luca will take care of that bastard," Pietro said before leaving the room.

'What the hell was that?' Dino thought and sat on the bed, still wearing only his boxers.
