"Kacper, did Dino call you?" May asked Kacper in the morning.
Kacper gave her a strange look. He looked worried, even early in the day.
"Well, I didn't tell you about this last night. You were sleeping," Kacper said, glancing at May. He looked paler today, like a piece of white paper.
"What? Is he okay?" Tears filled May's eyes before she even heard what Kacper was going to say.
"His father called me last night. He sounded so worried. He said Dino didn't come home," Kacper said.
"Maybe, maybe he's home now? But he doesn't answer his phone. I don't know why. It's not working," May said, shaking.
"I called his father this morning too. They said they still hadn't found him," Kacper said.
"Kacper, what... Why... why?" May struggled to find the words.
"Did he at least tell you something?" Kacper asked.
"No, he didn't say anything special at all. He just said he felt bored and was going to the mall. That's all he said to me," May replied, feeling her stomach burn. She quickly sat down, feeling dizzy.
"I want to help them, but I don't know how," Kacper said, his voice filled with worry.
"Maybe it's Rosi. Rosi is so weird. She's always chasing you guys. Maybe she kidnapped him. I always suspected her," May said.
"I don't know, May. But I'll tell his father about Rosi," Kacper said as he picked up his phone to call Pietro.
—-----
"Thanks, Kacper, for calling. But you don't have to worry about her. She's my old friend. I talked with her. Dino is not with her. If you or May know anything, please tell me," Pietro pleaded with Kacper over the phone.
"I'm going with the others to find him. I can't just stay here doing nothing," Pietro said to Rosi.
"I'll come with you," Rosi said.
"No, you stay here. Who knows where the hell he is?" Pietro replied, sounding ready to go to hell to find Dino.
Looking at Pietro's face, Rosi realized it wasn't the right time to argue with him. She wondered if she even had the right to argue. She felt like this was all her fault. She had believed her parents like an idiot. Her mind drifted back to the day she slipped while she was pregnant. The servant girl had been mopping the floor in front of her room. There was so much water, and that kind of thing had never happened before. Was it her mom's cruel plan?
"Oh my gosh. I can't believe her," the words slipped from her mouth automatically.
"What?" Pietro asked.
"Now I realize it. My mom planned it," Rosi said, recalling why she had to go to the hospital earlier to give birth.
"I can't believe you never thought to tell me that you were pregnant," Pietro said softly. He wasn't in the mood to fight.
"I'm sorry, Pietro. This is all my fault," Rosi said. Then she looked at him. "Can I come with you to find him?" she asked, full of hope.
"No, you stay here," Pietro insisted before leaving. After he was gone, Rosi called Lola and told her what had happened.
"I need your help, Lola. I want to find him. Can you come with me to look for him?" Rosi asked her friend, and Lola agreed.

Dino opened his eyes and felt a throbbing pain in his head. His whole body hurt, and he realized he was lying on the floor. He was in a room that was semi-dark, and he couldn't tell what time it was. He wondered why he was there. He felt hungry and thirsty but didn't know how long he had been there. He tried to remember how he ended up in this place.
Then a memory came back to him. He remembered the fight between Pietro and Rosi. That made him mad, and he drove home fast, wanting to be alone in his room. It was raining heavily, and the road was unclear. Suddenly, he saw someone lying in the road, blocking his way. He stopped the car and rushed to the person in the rain, trying to wake them up. That was the last thing he could remember.
Dino got up and tried to find a door or a window. He noticed the window was covered with wood. Then he saw the door. He rushed to it and tried to open it, but it was locked.
"Let me out! Hello! Open the door!" Dino shouted, but there was no response. He desperately tried to open the door and even attempted to open the window. As time passed without any sign of human presence, he felt like he was going crazy. His thirst and hunger grew, and he felt weak.
"Papa, where are you? Papa!" Dino screamed, hitting the door. No sound came back. Everything was silent.
Dino felt exhausted. He sat on the floor and, without realizing it, fell asleep.
When Dino woke up, he saw a little bottle of water near the door and a plastic spoon with a bit of honey. He ran to the door and, without thinking twice, drank the water. He didn't care if someone had poisoned it; he was just so thirsty. Then he ate the honey, feeling even hungrier. But it wasn't enough. Dino realized there was someone in the house.
"Let me out! Why are you keeping me here?" Dino said, his voice strained from his dry throat. "Please, let me go!"
Time passed, but Dino didn't know how long he had been there. He felt stressed and frustrated. Outside, he heard a sound, and after a few minutes, he realized it was raining.
He tried to open the door and the window again, but when that didn't work, he sat down on the floor. After what felt like minutes or hours—he had no idea about the time—he tried to open the door and window again, then screamed, begging to be let go. But no one responded. Eventually, he fell asleep again.
The next time Dino woke up, there was no water left. He felt like he was going crazy. His body was not used to this kind of situation. He tried to scream like before, but he couldn't. He attempted to open the door and window again, knowing it wouldn't work, but he didn't give up. The sound of the rain had stopped.
Dino didn't know how long it had been, but it was pitch black. He couldn't see anything and started to cry out of frustration.
—--------------
The next time Dino woke up, he found another water bottle and a spoon of honey. He stumbled to the door like a drunk man, quickly drinking the water and eating the honey.
"Please let me go. Please," Dino pleaded with his dry voice. But there was no response.
"Papa! Luca!" Dino began to cry, but no tears came. He didn't even have the energy to cry. "Please, Papa, save me," he said, feeling utterly helpless.

Pietro woke up around 2 a.m. from a dream. He heard Dino's voice, crying and asking for help. Pietro felt like his heart was burning. He had been looking for Dino for four days now. Rosi was still there with him. Don was upset too. Rocco apologized for being a jerk, and even Helio came to try to comfort him, though he needed more practice with that.
"Mom called me and said something you might want to hear. She suspects someone," Rosi told Pietro.
