As soon as Dino and Helio were released, Helio went home and said he'd never come back again. Fortunately, Don didn't give another speech, as he had already punished them enough.

Dino ran to his room, only to find his phone dead because it hadn't been charged in six days. He plugged it in to charge. After a few minutes, he checked his phone while it was still connected. He couldn't wait to get back online. When he turned it on, there were a lot of missed calls and text messages from May and Kacper. May had called him more than Kacper, and her messages were longer.

Kacper had been worried, asking why Dino wasn't coming to school, why he wasn't replying to messages, or answering any calls. In some messages, he even mentioned that May kept asking about Dino constantly.

In May's messages, things started out normal. But when Dino didn't respond, they got longer. As more days passed, her texts became even longer and angrier. Then there were the missed calls.

May wrote things like, "Why aren't you replying?"
"What's wrong?"
"Are you mad at me? If you're mad, just tell me, and I won't bother you."

And the last few messages were:
"Do you have a girlfriend now?"
"Who is she?"
"Are you texting another girl?"
"If you don't reply to this message, I will never talk to you again." That was the last message.

First, Dino sent a message to Kacper, explaining what had happened because he was his best friend. Then he tried to call May, but she didn't answer.

"Hey, I'm sorry. I didn't have my phone for six days," Dino texted, but there was no reply. Then he got a call from Kacper.

"Yo man, your grandpa sounds really crazy," Kacper said.

"He's old, and yeah, I think he's losing it," Dino replied.

"So, you and Helio are okay?" Kacper asked.

"I'm not sure," Dino said, remembering how Helio had tried to make him eat a shrimp.

"Ms. Bright was worried that you didn't come to school. She talked about you every day, and now the boys are making fun of you, saying she's your girlfriend," Kacper said.

"What? I mean, Ms. Bright is hot, so I don't mind," Dino said, "but she's annoying."

"What about May? She was so mad at me, like I knew where you were but wasn't telling her. Are you guys dating? She asked if you were cheating on her with another girl. So I asked her, 'Are you guys dating?' and she said no. Then I asked, 'How's he cheating on you if you're not dating?' That made her mad, and she told me to tell you that she's going to say yes to Dragos," Kacper said.

"Dragos? Helio's friend?" Dino asked, shocked.

"That's the only Dragos I know," Kacper said. Dino felt worried.

"But... I thought she didn't like me. I just called her, and she didn't answer. Do you think she's already said yes to him?" Dino asked with a worried voice.

"I don't know, man. She's not very patient, honestly," Kacper said. "She's not like Natisha. Natisha is really sweet."

"Oh, stop boasting about your girl now. I just lost mine, and here you are, bragging about yours. Not cool, dude," Dino said, sounding upset.

"Sorry, man. Why don't you try to find someone calm instead of someone like May? Just saying," Kacper said. Dino knew what Kacper said was true. But Dino still liked May, and he didn't want to find another girl just to get revenge on her. He wanted someone he could actually fall in love with.
