The servant bought the EpiPen, and Pietro injected it quickly into Dino's thigh. Someone called for an ambulance.
Pietro looked at Dino with pain. Pietro also had a food allergy to peanuts, and he remembered how he accidentally ate some peanuts when he was little. Pietro knew what kind of pain Dino was going through. He guessed Dino felt the same pain and felt bad for him. He touched Dino's hair with compassion.
The ambulance came, and they sent Dino to the hospital with Luca. Pietro had to wait because he had to answer to Don for being irresponsible.
"What a nice father you are, Pietro," Don looked at Pietro and barked. Caterina looked at Pietro, surprised.
"I... I didn't know. He didn't tell me...," Pietro tried to say.
"He didn't tell you, or you didn't talk with him? Did you even tell him you are his father?" Don barked angrily and then coughed. The servant offered some water, and he drank it.
"Sorry, Papa. I'll tell him. I just... didn't know what to do," Pietro said, looking at the floor.
"Oh yeah. You don't know what to do. The only thing you know is sleeping with my enemies' daughters and getting them pregnant. Then you get surprised after 16 years, knowing you have a 16-year-old son," Don growled. Nico and Rocco had to fake coughs to stop their chuckling.
"Why are you two laughing?" Don turned to Nico and Rocco and asked.
"Sorry, P... Papa," Nico said somehow without chuckling. Rocco didn't open his mouth just in case he burst into laughter and made Don angry.
"I wish I had three donkeys rather than you three stupid idiots," Don said.
"Okay, now go and see how your son is doing. I never behaved like you when one of you got sick. I can't believe this generation. Look how you're standing here wasting time without bothering to go and see your son," Don started to blame Pietro. Pietro looked confused at Don. Don first kept Pietro there to ask questions but blamed him for not going to the hospital.
"I'll... I'll leave," Pietro said. Then he quickly snuck out to his car.
"Pietro, what's going on? You have a son?" Caterina asked, following him.
"Surprise!" Pietro said dramatically.
"This is not a joke, Pietro," she seethed.
"I know. I know. I didn't know I had a son until a few days ago. Okay. It was a mistake," Pietro said.
"How is it a mistake?" Caterina asked. Now she was angry.
"We did it for fun, and she got pregnant," Pietro said, throwing his hands in the air.
"Yeah, women get pregnant when they have sex with men. That's how they get pregnant.
Do you know anyone who gets pregnant without having sex with a man, except for surrogate mothers? What a mistake, right?" Caterina spat.
"Good thing I'm waiting for marriage. I'll tell my father," Caterina huffed and left.
Pietro saw her get into her car and leave the Lombardi mansion.
"Sh*t," Pietro said.
