It's been hours. Rain, London, Death, Bench. As Grindelwald's watch ticked every second, his mind was blank. He could not recover from the shock. As he was mindlessly staring at the sky, he suddenly felt a strong pulsation in the right pocket of his shirt. He quickly pulled the blood pact out, confused.

"Why is it...?" He touched the silver pact gently as he frowned. "Pulsing..." he mumbled. Gellert's mind raced through every single instruction in the book he found in the summer of 1989. "Pulsation of the blood pact typically occurs when a partner is in need of the other." The yellow-paged book was old, but the text was clear, and Grindelwald recalled every single word.

When he finished processing his thoughts, he stood up from the bench in disbelief. "Albus, my Albus! He needs me, his blood is calling for help, he- he is alive!" The blond wizard yelled in realization, scaring all the muggles on the sidewalk.

As soon as he calmed down, Gellert rushed to find Minerva McGonagall, who is currently the only person he can reach out to. Now. Knocking on the firm gates of Hogwarts, Gellert was literally a madman, "MINERVA OPEN UP! MINERVA!!!"

The doors opened. But to Grindelwald's disappointment, it wasn't Minerva. Instead, it was Argus Filch.

"Call Minerva McGonagall. Now."

Filch raised his brows.

"Please." Gellert added.

Filch, being unable to deny this wet-haired, crazy looking madman, went on to call the witch.

----

He did not remember what happened next. It all seemed like a fever dream, or so he hoped, at least. All Gellert knows is that Minerva is the only one in this world that is capable and willing of helping. He rushed through the corridors of Hogwarts, startling the students with his wet, messy hair.

"Grindelwald! I've heard. I am so sorry for your loss and-"

"NO!" He yelled. "Don't. He is alive. I am certain, look,"
Gellert pulled out the pulsing bloodpact.

Minerva was confused at first. Her eyes were a mixture of sympathy and grief, but was quickly overwhelmed with shock. "Why...? Is that-"

Yes. She read the book as well.

Minerva was also a frequent guest in the forbidden library.

"I might know where he is. The only person who would ever dare to do such barbarity would be Hogwarts' most notorious living alumni, Tom Riddle Jr.", she said quietly, almost whispering.

"He was also the only alumni who disliked Albus Dumbledore", she added.

Thunder stroke the castles of England. In particular, Nurmengard-- shattering the windows of what belongs to the greatest wizards of 1920, Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald.
