47 the weekend

FRIDAY COURT DATE:

I can't believe today is the day where my parents could be going to prison for a while and I'm excited and extremely nervous about talking about what happened.

Yesterday we were super busy at with the lawyer making sure we had all the evidence we needed and things like that.

Mr. Thomas helped us when my parents were suing Andy and the orphanage for no reason and it went well which I'm glad.

We also ended up having the same judge as last time so that made me feel better knowing we had a good chance again at winning the case.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off because we had to be there by 11 am.

I yawned and stretched and turned off the alarm Andy woke up and yawned and stretched and said I don't want to get up.

I got out of bed and went and woke up nat and told her we need to get ready she woke up and said ugh ok.

I also woke up Amy and Chris and they said they would get up and ready I smiled and said ok and walked out their room.

I went back into our room and closed the door and headed into the bathroom and closed the door Andy was trying to wake up.

I brushed my hair and teeth and also used the restroom then headed back into our room and quickly picked out my outfit.

Andy also got ready he said you ready I said no I'm extremely nervous about it Amy and Chris got here yesterday and they are coming as well.

A little while later we finally all finished getting ready and left the house we picked up coffee then we headed to the court house.

Andy held my hand while driving down the highway I bit my lip and looked out the window and felt like I wanted to cry.

Andy said Helena we are gonna be ok don't worry nat said Helena we got this ok I took a deep breath and said ok and continued holding andys hand.

A little while later we finally got to the court house and Andy parked the car and we all got out and closed our doors we all left our phones in the car.

Andy locked the car and we all walked through the parking lot together and we all walked into the court house and I got flashbacks.

Officer Matthew and officer Laney walked over to us and told us what was going on and we walked through the metal detector.

Mr. Thomas was waiting on all of us the guys were sitting and waiting for us I smiled and gave Mr. Thomas a hug he said good to see you guys again.

I said unfortunate circumstances with my parents again he shook his head and said I'm glad that you guys are ok I said me too.

A couple minutes later we all sat down and Mr. Thomas said good news you guys will have the same judge as last time.

Andy said well thats good he said yes so he definitely will not show Helenas family any mercy I smiled and felt slightly better.

A little while later it was finally our turn and we headed into the court room me nat and mr. Thomas and also Andy sat on the right side of the courtroom.

Our friends and family sat down behind us my parents familes sat down on the other side and I felt angry because none of them cared about me.

Nat told me I shouldn't be upset because I have an amazing family now and that made me feel much better.
