"Are you sure you can't come over?" Becky asked again with a pout.

"Yes, I'm sure. It's an important and urgent matter." Anya said sternly as she continued to pack up her bag.

It's been a week since their time at the café. She continued to hang out with them, either at school or outside.

They would be studying, doing homework, talking, eating or drinking, etc etc.

It was the first time in a long time that Anya was happy for a whole week.

It wouldn't be possible for her to be with them everyday with her busy schedule but luckily, there wasn't much for her to do at WISE.

But today, she had a meeting with her team to discuss and finalize their plans for the gala that was happening in just a few days.

She and Moon had planned everything down to the smallest details.

The only thing left for them to do is share it with everyone and incorporate their roles as well as some last minute ideas.

"What is this 'matter' anyway?" Becky asked, crossing her arms.

"It's a personal thing. Gomen, but I can't tell you. Not yet at least." She mumbled the last part as she closed her bag.

She did plan on telling her friend.

Just not now.

Not when there's so much at stake.

Not when one small mistake could ruin everything.

"Why not?" The brunette continued to pout. She knew Anya is more than allowed to keep some things private but she can't help but ask.

The end of the year is just around the corner and Anya was always off to deal with 'important matters' for the most part.

The week they spent together with Damian was the longest she's ever spent time with Anya for the entire year.

"It's..." Anya sighs in frustration, her gaze travelling downwards.

She could list all the reasons as to why she can't tell the brunette but every one of them would require further explanation.

Which she doesn't have time for.

"Gomen, Becky, but I can't do this right now. Some other time, I promise." Anya says, her voice unintentionally sounding like she was pissed.

Without another glance at her friend, she picked up her bag and rushed out of the classroom, pushing her guilty thoughts to the back of her mind as she hurried to make it in time for the meeting.

"In the middle of the gala, while everyone has loosened up and let their guard down, Twilight will talk with Donovan in disguise and distract him. Nightfall would try to get his fingerprint and Moon will get through the security on the upper level of the safe house. When Nightfall manages to get the fingerprint, I will take it as I go upstairs through the vents in the restroom."

Anya explains, circling a pen around the area marked as the bathroom on the blueprint laid out on the table.

She glances up at everyone's faces, making sure they understood before continuing.

"The vent leads to Donovan's office, which is where he kept the files we need inside a locked safe. The safe requires his fingerprint, as well as a code that changes every few days."

"Fortunately, some new tools came in. They are much more advanced and would be able to open the safe." Moon added.

"While we're in his office, Yor would keep a look out and prevent anyone from getting caught. We will be giving the files to Franky who will be waiting outside and he will send it in to the investigatory unit of the government police. While the gala is still ongoing, they will process a warrant of arrest that can be valid by the time the event comes to a close. At that point, we have the power to imprison him and put him up for investigation with the evidence collected."
