Damian sat in the library, books covering the table he was using. A big test was coming up so he needed to study.

The dorms are a good location but it was far too quiet. He needed to be somewhere where there was a little noise. Quiet, but not too quiet.

The library was the perfect place.

The sound of a pen against a paper, some mumbling and light footsteps was exactly the kind of noise he was looking for.

He was in the middle of his five minute break to freshen up his mind when the person beside him stood up, revealing a pink haired girl.

His attention was immediately drawn. It was Anya. No one else in the school had such bright hair.

He watched from the corner of his eyes, not wanting his staring to be too obvious.

He noticed the way she read the book, and the way she wrote down notes. But what stood out to him the most was how her leg was bouncing up and down repeatedly.

Now that he thinks about it, her eyes are worried. She looks extremely stressed and she was biting the nails of the hand that wasn't holding a pen.

'Does she have-'

'No Damian. Don't assume the worst. She could just be anxious.'

He scolded himself.

He observed her from where he was sitting, his studies forgotten.

When she had no more nails to bite, she resorted to pulling at her hair. She started to bite her lip and both her legs bounced.

That was the last straw for Damian.

He didn't know if she actually had anxiety but she sure was showing symptoms.

From what he could observe, he guessed she would be having a breakdown or an attack if she didn't take a breather.

He stood up form his seat and cautiously walked towards her.

He pulled the chair beside her and sat down, startling the telepath.

"Forger. Are you alright?" He asked. She looked confused for a moment and looked at him questioningly.

"Sorry. I said that because you looked stressed." He explained and looked away, suddenly feeling embarassed.

"I'm okay sy-on boy. I just got too deep into studying I guess." She chuckled and scratched the back of her head sheepishly.

'She's showing symptoms of having it. But I don't she knows. Wait. Does she even have it in the first place? What if she really is just anxious and stressed?'

She heard. The thoughts came from him. She didn't know what he's talking about but decided to not question things instead. Being curious isn't always a good thing.

"Well take a break. You need it. You're going to go crazy if you keep going at that rate." He advised and stood up, walking over to his table to gather his things.

He decided to retreat back to his dorm to continue studying and hopefully get his mind off of Anya.

Hours had passed and Damian was still in his room wrapped on his books.

The sun was fully set by the time he finished. The dorms were eerily quiet as usual and left him feeling unsettled.

He wanted to go out and have some fun but he couldn't leave his studies. He can't afford his rank to drop.

He went back to reading his textbook when his dorm phone started ringing.
