The mouthwatering aroma filled the air as the people bustled around in the small restaurant.

Snow was slowly falling outside, coating the roads with ice.

The sound of people talking drowned out the sounds of the vehicles driving on the road.

Damian sat at a table in the corner, patiently waiting for his food.

He was at a ramen place, finding himself to be starving on the way back to the dorms.

He left the mansion right after his talk with his father as he didn't plan to stay the night.

His driver sat in the car, eating the beef stew that he bought for himself.

This place was one of Damian's favorites. He didn't come often because of his busy schedule but when he can, he makes sure to eat as much as he could.

Eden provides good food but it's usually limited due to their strict rule of no eating anything above the calorie limit.

They say it's to keep the students healthy but it just sucks sometimes.

Sighing, he brings out the small book he stashed in his coat pocket.

It was a compilation of short stories made by the authors in the publishing company.

He was on the 3rd story and so far, it seemed great.

He was starting to get bored though so for a moment, he dropped the book and ran his hand through his dark green/dark brown hair. (I don't actually know what his hair color is so just imagine him with whatever color)

The restaurant door opened, the bell on top ringing.

Looking up, his eyes widened upon seeing Anya walk in, dressed in warm but elegant clothing.

He continued to stare as she walked to the empty register lane, talking with the cashier.

"Order 87!" Someone from the counter yelled out, calling the number.

Checking the paper given to him, Damian stood up to retrieve his food.

The 'claim your food' spot was next to the register Anya was in so he could hear what they were saying.

He didn't wanna eavesdrop but he couldn't help himself.

He stood there for a moment, waiting for the lady to come back with his food.

"Will that be all?" He heard the cashier say, already computing the amount of money the food will cost.

"Yes." Anya answered, nodding her head.

He looked back to the tray the woman had placed in front of him as she put a dish of sushi before returning to the kitchen to get the rest of his order.

"Alright then. Your total comes out to ¥10,348.25. Will you be paying in cash or card?"

Damian managed to catch.

Anya still hasn't noticed him so he stood there in silence as the woman placed two more dishes on the plastic tray.

From the corner of his eye, he could see Anya counting all the money in her wallet nervously.

His order was complete and not wanting to block the way, he went back to his table with his food, carefully placing it down.

It looked and smelled great.

Smiling slightly, he looked back at Anya and found her chatting with the cashier once more.

He bit on the inside of his cheek as he watched Anya. He could see her face from the spot he was in and she looked disappointed.
