CONNOR'S POV
Seeing her in that provocative dress isn't helping out right now considering how far gone I am.
The plan was pretty simple, bring her to the party and exact my revenge on Chris. But I feel like I should dump the whole plan and just be with her throughout the party without trying to involve Chris.
Some Bimbo tried to merge herself into my side but I didn't bother looking at her because all my focus was just on Jasmine. She settled for the spiked punch even when she knew it was spiked. I think it seemed like a mild choice for her, but she's a lightweight and it's obvious from how weird she's acting right now.
"Connor I want to dance" The Bimbo said into my ear and I leaned away from her with an irritated gaze settled on her. She winked at me while trying to bite her bottom lip and my irritated gaze turned into a deep frown.
"Do you mind?" I asked trying to stay polite and I tried pushing her away with a finger. I don't remember including this bimbo in my plan for tonight.
I turned to stare at Jasmine and she was still with her glass of punch while giggling to herself. Yup! This one's a lightweight quite alright.
I caught Chris staring at Jasmine and I immediately scooted over to her on the couch. She turned to stare at me and smiled, wow, her smile is really captivating and enchanting.
Snap out of it Connor!.
He began approaching us and I placed my hand around Jasmine's shoulder while whispering into her ear "Please tell me you're sober enough to go through with the plan." She just giggled in response and I suppressed an eye roll,I didn't think this through.
Chris soon appeared with furrowed brows and a confused gaze trained on my arm around Jasmine's shoulder, he wasn't even staring at me, like I wasn't present.
"Hey man, thought you weren't going to make it" I said with a smirk and he turned to stare at me before replying.
"I never miss an opportunity to party, how are you doing Jasmine?" He asked with a sickly sweet smile (the one he's used to win over ladies). Jasmine giggled before replying.
" I'm fine" He chuckled trying to act all cute and I found myself frowning. She's supposed to make him jealous and now it feels a lot like they're flirting and that's not sitting well with me.
"I didn't think you'd come to the party. Would you like to have a drink with me?" What the ---?!!!.
A drink?. Really?.
" She can't. She's already had something" I said a little sternly and he scoffed.
"I was actually asking Jasmine not you"
"It doesn't matter. As you can see she's with a glass of punch and she's a lightweight" I said with as much politeness as I could muster which was non-existent as I spoke.
"So what are you now? Her dad?. Let the lady speak for herself ". I glared at him as he spoke and I would really love to knock him out with a punch.
"Just fuck off Chris" I said and he glared at me.
This is so much better than watching them flirt if you ask me. It's not like I'm jealous or anything.
Yeah keep lying to yourself.
"You really got some nerves saying that Connor . I should really kick your ass for what you did" I just smirked to annoy him the more and he fell for it.
Truth is this is all a big misunderstanding, but no one's willing to hear my side of the story and they think it's true because of the reputation I've built for myself. And trust me it's not a good one I built.
