Shiera had joined Viserys and his new family on the hunt for Aegons name day. Shiera joined only because she felt alone and missed her husband.

She had kept herself busy with her son, the dragons and visiting Rhaenyra. Shiera knew her niece had no one in her corner. Not anymore atleast.

Rhaenyra was showing Baelon a dragon toy, while they were in the carriage. Paying no mind to Alicent or her son.

Until there was a bump in the road. Making Alicent move uncomfortably. "Should you be traveling in such condition?" Rhaenyra asked spitefully.

"The maesters said it would be good for me to get out" Alicent responded kindly.

"I was far too tired to travel" Shiera said while running her fingers through Baelon's silver hair.

"You'll have children soon enough Rhaenyra, and make me a proud grandsire" Viserys spoke while pointing at Rhaenyra.

"It's not so bad. The days are long but Aegon came quick and without fuss" Alicent responded happily.

Shiera and Rhaenyra side eyed each other. Shiera knew Alicent meant no harm by her words. They still certainly felt harmful.

Once they arrived, Shiera sat on the floor, the last seat taken by Alicent. Not that she minded, she preferred to play with her son.

Shiera did miss her husband, he was her light, in the darkness. As was her son, she sat smiling down happily at Baelon.

The happy babbles he made. They kept her happy. She was in a maroon/red dress that was in a velvet fabric. She had a gorgeous golden necklace, one Daemon had gifted her.

She had sat there silently with Baelon. Not particularly listening to the ladies speaking until they brought up Daemon.

"Well Prince Daemon brought the crown into the Sea snakes war." Lady redwyne spoke.

Shiera stood up, while raising an eyebrow to the lady. If anyone had class it was Shiera.

"The king shouldn't have ignored the sea snakes letters for help" Shiera said while looking at her nails, with a confident expression.

"Prince Daemon should've never interfered" she spoke back to Shiera, almost forgetting who she was.

Shiera hummed while holding her head high. The other women's faces held fear for what shiera might say, even alicent.

Rhaenyra listened from afar with a smirk. "Do not forget yourself, but it's merely the kings fault for not acting. Houses could be comprised if this is not taken care of" Shiera said while staring at lady redwyne.

"Though do tell me, how have you served the realm as of late?" Shiera said, while picking up Baelon in her hands.

"My apologies, princess" Lady redwyne spoke. While looking down obviously embarrassed. She did not speak the rest of the day.

Shiera went to talk to viserys, to see him occupied with men and women, looking at Aegon.

It was now dinner and Viserys wondered where Rhaenyra had gone.

"I'll answer that, if you tell me what you plan do to about the stepstones" shiera said in annoyance.

"I plan for nothing. Daemon got himself in it. He can get himself out" Viserys said annoyed with Shiera aswell.
