My Only Fantasy (Final Fantasy X)

Rikku and Al Bhed

Once again I woke up on a cold hard surface. At least their wasn't any rocks digging into me this time, though I was rocking. Groaning I got up and looked around. It was dark out save for a few spot lights being moved around the waters surface. I was on the Al Bhed ship, and I was getting sea sick.

"Ced, lybdeja!" A guy yells slamming the butt of his gun into Tidus.

"Hey, that hurts!" Tidus complained to him on the ground.

"Hu sujehk, rayn?" Another man said.

"Whoa... Okay." Tidus puts his hands up in surrender. Rikku and another one of the Al Bhed come out.

"Caynir yeas!" The guy who walked out with Rikku barked. I just sat their on the floor trying to keep lunch down. This was the first time I've ever been out in the ocean on a boat. Heck this was my first time being on a boat.

"Right. Whatever." Tidus said feeling feed up not knowing what they were saying. I only felt a fraction of the annoyance. I've seen this so many times that I know basically what they're saying but not word for word.

"Tu oui hud cbayg?"

"I said I don't understand!" Tidus hissed out.

"Ehcumahla!" The yelled. I yawned at his show unimpressed.

"Fyed! He said you can stay if you make yourselves useful." She told us.

"You... You understand me? All right, I'll work!" Tidus said getting up. I got up too and followed him. I half expected Rikku to give us the sphere grid tutorial but it didn't happen.

"We found some ancient ruins right beneath us. It's not active now, but there should still be some power left. We're gonna go down there and activate it...and then we should be able to salvage the big prize! Okay! Let's get to work!" Rikku informed us excited about the big prize under water.

"Roger!" Tidus said jumping onto the railing then dived in.

"Um....I can't swim well or hold my breath for that long. Not to mention what I'm wearing and the fact I don't have a weapon."

"We don't hold our breath silly. Haven't you ever hear of a auqa filter? It's what blitz ball players use to breath under water." Rikku asked me.

"Ehhh no." I said. 'That wasn't in the game...hmmm now I'm curious, what else is different?'

"It's not important, you can stay up here until we come back." She said.

"Thanks." I said as she jumped over the railing to follow Tidus. I sat down and looked over the rolling waves and the spot lights. Pretty soon you could see lights down below in the water. All the men started chattering amongst themselves.

Then all but one of them jumped over board. The one that was left behind stood watch over me. I looker over at him and uttered a 'hey' but got no reaction.

"Fa vuiht dra airship!" A Al Bhed guy said as they all, Tidus and Rikku included, got back on board.

"Dra naluntc fana nekrd." Another said happily.

"Huf, ruf du tnyk ed ib?" Tidus tried following them outside but was strong armed.

"Oui, uidceta!"

"Hey, I helped out, didn't I?" He said but the door shut in his face.

"Come on hot shot, you can chill with me. After all this is where the cool kids hang out." I told him trying to calm him down.

"So, uh...how did you get here?" He asked sitting down beside me.

"The same way you did, getting knocked out then waking up on this ship."

"No I mean back at that place." He clarified.
