My Only Fantasy (Final Fantasy X)

Over the River and Through the Woods

"BYE GUYS!" I screamed over my shoulders as I continued to run as they all slowed down.

"HEY WHERE YOU GOING?" Tidus shouted out to me cupping his hands to his mouth.

"Places baby, places." I retorted continuing to run towards the Guado manor. I had to dodge a guy who was also running, other then that it was smooth sailings straight to the front door. I was planning on using my momentum to bust into the door and fly up the stairs. But NOOO, a certain blue haired emo mother fucker just had to come out of his fucking house right then. I tried to stop but failed miserable because like it or not I rammed into him. Of coarse he didn't fall backwards onto his butt like I did. I'm not that lucky.

"Seymour!!!" I yelled angrily at him as I propped myself up onto my elbows to glare at him.

"Here, allow me." Seymour said extending his hand to me with a small smile. I growled but took his hand allowing him to pull me up. I dusted the dirt from the back of my suit frowning at him. "I don't know why you are upset with me. It wasn't I who decided to run at a closed door." Seymour said stepping further out so his two goons could also exit the building.

"I know but you just HAD to come out of your house when you did! Anyways, I'm coming with you." I said stepping off to the side. I waved my arms towards the tunnel that would lead up to the outside world in the Thunder Plains.

"Not going to return to your friends?" Seymour asked.

"Nah, I think I'll be too much of a eighth wheel if you know what I mean." I shrugged following him as we walked towards the tunnel. As we neared The air got a little warmer but the sounds of thunder and water pelting the ground could already be heard. It got me all giddy inside. I just wanted to go running in it, although I knew better then to do so in the Thunder Plains. I'm not quite ready for death yet.

"I see. Very well then." Seymour said. 'I think Pevuliophile is the name for what I am. I believe it means someone who finds that they love storms. Or something like that.'  Once we reached the end of the tunnel I stopped and looked out at the land. I felt like I couldn't breathe for some time, it was just so awesome.  The place was filled with tiny puddles that looked more like little lakes and the sky constantly had lightning in it. It didn't just go in one little line like in the game. The lightning here would branch out like a mighty tree or a spider web and the thunder would boom so loudly that the earth would quake just a little from it.

"Wow.....it's official....I'm moving to Guadosalam when all is said and done so I can see this when ever I want to." I said looking to the sky in wonder.

"Wouldn't you get tired of seeing it everyday? It's constantly wet here and not to mention it's really loud." Seymour said. I looked down from the sky to him.

"No, why would I get tired of this? Sure it's always wet but I love water and I love rain. I love the white noise of it and I love the darkness that it brings." I said stepping out of the cave and into the rain. I didn't flinch away from the rain, instead I embraced it.

"What about the Lightning?" Seymour asked having to speak above the noise.

"What about it?" I asked as I made for the first lightning tower. I didn't mind lightning, but that didn't mean I wanted to get hit by it.

"Do you enjoy it?" He asked.

"Oh yeah! What's not to love about it? I mean sure some people are scared of it but it's still enjoyable to see." I said touching the tower before making my way towards the next one with Seymour and his two goons following me. It really bugged me that they never really talked much. It was like they were those British guards or something. I've never actually went and seen them but I must say.....It would  be creepy to have so guy sit there and watch you and not move no matter what you did.....short of touching them.
