I eventually relaxed in my seat next to Seymour. I decided to push everything to the back of my mind and just watch the Blitzball game. It wasn't a bad sport to watch, I mean I could stand to watch it more then I could Baseball. That says something right there. The Besaid Aurochs won there first match much to my pleasure. I started to just look around the stadium and zone out. It passed the time between and during the matches.
A Guado approached Seymour and whispered something in his ear. I my attention was instantly drawn to them. Seymour nodded his head and the Guado left. I examined Seymour closely trying to figure out what the other Guado had said to him.
"Do you wish to ask me a question." He asked me casually turning his head towards me. I jumped and looked away quickly. 'Guy has eyes in the back of his head!'
"No, I'll know the answer during the next game." I looked back at him and glared darkly.
"Well then, I guess we shall see." He turned his head back towards the game once more.
"I will." I spat at him silently. 'Why am I the one being tortured here? Who did I piss off? What the hell did I ever do to deserve this. I admit that Seymour is hot and I've always a fan girl when it came to him but other girls, and boys, are so much worse!' I thought it over in my head chewing on the side of my cheek.
Then I heard screams coming from the people bellow. Fiends were attacking the people in the stadium. In that game you didn't see people dying or getting attack but this wasn't the game. Everywhere I looked I saw someone being mauled by a fiend or dying. I shot out of my seat and clamped my hand over my mouth as a scream wormed it's way up my throat.
"Take Maester Mika to safety." Seymour commanded the guards. They nodded and help Mika up and lead him down the stairs and into the building. I took out my bow and picked out a ordinary arrow. "Relax, I will handle it." Seymour cooed to me.
"Oh sure, after all this is your mess!" I hissed shooting at a huge ass bird Fiend. I shout at the damn thing five times before it died.
"What ever are you talking about?" Seymour said not even trying to sound innocent.
"Don't insult my intelligence Seymour!" I growled jumping onto the railing to gain a better firing access. I was shooting down as many fiends as I could making the ones attacking people my top priority. Seymour stepped up to me and looked over at the stadium.
"Come Anima, feel my pain." Seymour said. Suddenly giant hook appeared from the sky. They disappeared into nothingness then started to be pulled up dragging half of Anima with it. The other half would remain unseen. Anima was one of my favorite aeons in this game. Heck the only aeons I don't like are Shiva, The Magnus sisters and Yojimbo. I love all the others equally, wait I'm lying I don't particularly care about Bahamut.
"Your not feeling pain just yet." I grumbled under my breath. I was just about to put up my bow when something hit me. "Hey, Seymour? Do me a favor and cast Curga on my arrow." I said presenting a plain arrow to him.
"No one has every tired casting White magic on a bow and arrow before. Interesting." He murmured taking my arrow. He held his hand in front of his face and closed his eyes. "Curga." He said waving his hand over the arrow. It began to glow with an intense white light. I accepted it back from his as Anima destroyed the fiends in the stadium.
"Here's to legend of dragoon. MOON CHILD!" I screamed out pointing my bow and arrow up to the sky. I released the bow string and the arrow went flying into the sky like a holy comet. By the time my arrow came down from the sky all the fiends were dead. The second my arrow hit the ground the white light rippled out. It wasn't the strongest because I still saw people with wounds all over them but it did help them. That was the purpose of the arrow, to give people enough time to help the injured. Kind of like putting pressure on the wound and lifting it above the persons head.
