I woke up in Seymour's arms. I guess everyone else woke up and decided to move on so Seymour volunteered to carry me. I yawned gaining his attention and looked around. Just ahead was the wall of statue people. Near by there was a large funnel of blue energy reaching up into the sky.
"Wh-What are those?" Wakka asks.
"Those are fayth." Yuna says gasping at the sight of them. "A summoning! Someone is using these fayth! Someone is drawing energy from all of them!"
"This many?" Rikku asked in shock.
"Who wields power on this scale, and what could they be calling?"
"Hey, you know something, don't you? Spill the beans!" Rikku said running up on Auron.
"Look not to others for knowledge. This is your journey, too."
"Yunie might die, you know?" Rikku pouted sadly. I tapped Seymour on the shoulder and pointed down to the ground. He let my feet down to the floor and released my shoulders.
"No... Auron's right. This is our... This is my story." Tidus said approaching the wall of Faith and touches it. He jumps a bit and covers his face with his arm before he falls backwards onto the floor.
"Tidus!" Yuna yells as the rest of the group gathers around him save for me, Auron, Seymour and Kimahri.
"Hey man!"
"Maybe we should of let them rest for a little while longer before making them move on." Lulu pondered looking to Wakka.
"Don't look at me I feel fine."
"Wake up! Wake up Tidus!" Yuna says. Tidus's eyes fly open and he pops up as if nothing happen. "Are you all right?" She asks and get a nod from him.
"Hey! We were so worried about you!" Rikku scolded him.
"You okay?" Lulu asked.
"I...I'm okay." He said.
"What happened?" Yuna asked.
"Nothing... I blacked out. I was dreaming. You called me... and I woke up. Nothing like a good nap! Well, I'm ready. Let's go!" Tidus said brushing it off. I smile lightly at him as we continue onward towards the cave. 'He just found out that he might not come back when we destroy Sin. I feel so bad for him, it's got to be scary for him.' I thought looking to the ground. I always felt for Tidus, to be so uncertain about being able to live. To find out you were nothing but a dream. It's got to fuck with your head even just a little.
We went into the cave system and had to deal with the fiend in there. The only good thing about it was that we could see them coming for a mile away. We had to back track a few times stop to argue about where we've been and where to go next. Soon we reached a lake in the cave.
"Looks like we got a job to do, ya?" Wakka said looking to Tidus and Rikku.
"If anything should happen in the water, we're relying on you three. If it gets dangerous, pull out quick." Lulu advised them.
"Right!"
"Be careful, okay?" Yuna said bidding them farewell. Tidus nods and they go into the water.
"Hello ladies and gentlemen! It's now time for a round of our favorite game! The waiting game!" I said dramatically.
"Must you bring attention to the fact that were going to be waiting for awhile." Lulu glared at me.
"Yep!" I smiled broadly at her. She growled shaking her head but didn't comment any further. Time dragged on and one until the a path of rocks jutted out of the wall. Wakka, Tidus and Rikku immerged from the water soon after.
