Yuna did a sending for all those who died that day. It was mesmerizing to watch her as she danced on the waters surface. I stayed back towards the boat not daring to get any closer. I couldn't stand to face the caskets of those who died. Greif and her due, it's the price I am going to pay. Soon the sending was complete and Yuna came back to the port with a tear stained face.
One by one the survivors all left the docks back to their homes. Those who where without homes went to the Inn or bunked with others. Yuna and the others went to the Inn to leaving me a Tidus behind. Tidus looked around until he found me.
"Hey, that was........" Tidus started kicking at a piece of ruble on the dock.
"Incredible depressing? I know." I sighed loudly.
"I guess that's one way to say it."
"Don't worry, It's my first time seeing a sending in real life." I said trying to comfort him. I began to walk towards the Inn.
"Really? Wait, how do you know if you can't remember anything?" Tidus asked.
"I can just feel it, now come on. I think we all could use a good rest after being out at sea all day then witnessing this." I said silencing him. My heart had started to thunder in my chest when he asked me how I could remember. I should just keep my mouth shut or I might make the others suspicious of me.
Hello, you must be with the group that just docked. The good news is that we have beds for you, the bad news is that you both will be sharing a room.
"WHAT!" Tidus yelled grapping his hair.
"That's fine." I rolled my eyes taking the key from the Inn Keeper.
"Awe....but you snore!" Tidus complained.
"Excuse me, I don't snore that badly your just throwing a fit because you don't want to share a room with a girl." I said walking up the stairs to the rooms. The key said it was room four. Once I reached room three I unlocked the door and opened it up.
"Ehh..." He lifted up a hand pointing a finger up as if he had a good point but after a second he dropped his arm and slumped over. I moved sideways for him to get in which he did then followed him shutting the door behind me.
"I don't think you would have a problem with it if it was Yuna or Rikku you would have to be sharing with." I said taking off my hood. The room was quite modest in the fact that their was two small beds with wooden frames and a dresser between the two. A small table with a pitcher and some cleaning supplies stood right next to the door. I hanged my hood over the frame pole and plopped down.
"N-NOOO! That's not true." He shook his head violently as if to get rid of the blush on is face.
"Your pants are on fire my dear confused friend." I yawned out stretching out.
"I'm not confused! And I'm not lying."
"What ever you got to tell yourself to help you sleep at night." I said closing my eyes and turning away from his so he couldn't see my smile.
"That's it! I'm not talking to you anymore."
"Okay, Good night Romeo." I teased.
"Night." I heard him huffed before I heard him plop down on his bed. I felt better having talked to Tidus. I felt like I could trust him and get away with slip ups because he isn't the brightest and he's more confused then I am at this point. Not talking to someone by choice is different then not talking to someone by necessity. I felt so lonely without my brother and friends to talk to whenever I wanted. Even if I hardly did speak with them, I knew they would always be their to talk to and nerd out with. Now, I'm all alone and may never see them again.
