"Get up, we're in the Sanubia desert." I heard Auron say.

"Mae, why did you tell Brother to go to the desert?" Yuna asked.

"Ugh...I ahhhh.....Geez...ummm......There are no churches in the desert...." I said sitting up in my bed. I looked around the room to see that only Auron, Yuna, Kimahri and myself were actually up. It was weird seeing Seymour sleep since well, I always went to sleep first and got up last.

"Makes sense to Kimahri." Kimahri said.

"Yeah." I nodded my head getting off my bed. I had honestly just pulled that out of my ass. Hey, it worked though! I went opened a few doors until I found a restroom and used it. After I was done I crouched down by Seymour's bed intending to do what he had done to me so much.

"Mae?" Yuna asked.

"Yeah?" I said.

"Do you....are you and Maester...I mean Lord Seymour..." She said. I could literally hear the blush in her voice. I myself blushed at what she was saying.

"What? Um, no me and him where childhood friends!" I said.

"But....your not from this world or Tidus's world. You told me so yourself!" Yuna said.

"Oh...yeah sorry got used to using that cop out...He's the one who came up with it actually." I said rubbing the back of my head. "The answer is no....we really are just friends right now."

"Oh....why did he. Wait...never mind I think I know the answer to that." Yuna began.

"The only other person to be just like him? Yeah...." I sighed.

"Your...not really like him though are you?" Yuna asked.

"No...I wasn't judged like him in my world...in fact...I was human through and through in my world. I don't know why I was changed but I really don't care cause it brings comfort to him." I said continuing to look at the sleeping Seymour.

"So...you do have feelings for him?" She asked me hesitantly.

"Yeah....I'll admit it. I do have feelings for him. Why else would I try so hard to make him happy? I mean I would try to make you or anyone else in this room happy but to do it to the extent I have done for him?" I said.

"Sounds like love." Auron huffed.

"Auron!" I gritted out silently so I didn't wake anyone up. "I wouldn't say it was love this freaking soon! I would call it a crush or infatuation!" I hissed.

"Love isn't something you can measure with time ya?" Wakka said sitting up in bed. I nearly screamed when I found out another person was awake.

"Who else is awake?" I asked getting mad.

"Sorry, I woke up but didn't want to actually get up yet." Rikku said popping up out of bed. Tidus sat up and so did Lulu making me want to cry.

"You guys were being awfully loud." Lulu justified.

"Wait....if everyone is was woken up by us then.....oh Yevon." I gasped slowly looking to Seymour. His eyes were still closed but I just had to make sure. "Seymour.....stay asleep it you were asleep." I said. I almost sighed in relief until I saw his lips curl up into a smirk. "OH YEVON THIS IS SO EMBARRASSING!" I screamed grapping up all of my things then running out of the room. I ran and kept running until I was in some back room. I sat down and put on my boots and cloak before laying my head in my hands. 'He heard that I wasn't born a hybrid like him......He might hate me for lying to him.' I worried. Now I felt more ridden with guilt the embarrassment. 

"Good morning kiddos! This is your caption speaking saying that if you want breakfast you better come get it before brother eats it all. Rikku, I'm going to give you guys the entire day to mill about in the desert. Be back before night fall!" Cid said from the intercom. I think about skipping breakfast but after a very long and frustrating argument with my stomach I got up and went towards where I thought the food would be. I was assisted in my quest by the smell of some sort of meat in the air. I walked in head ducked down and ran to the corner of the room.

"Mae...come on now....it wasn't that bad. It's not like it wasn't obvious to everyone, right guys?" Rikku asked only making me blush more.
