"Sing Us A Song, You're The Piano Man!"

The air in the abandoned castle was heavy with the scent of damp stone and lingering smoke from the earlier battle. Luffy burst through the large creaking doors, his energy undiminished despite the dire circumstances. He was followed closely by the rest of the Straw Hat crew and a couple of Lola’s pirates, each carrying massive sacks stuffed with supplies.

“Hey, Chopper! I brought everything you asked for!” Luffy’s voice echoed through the cavernous space, his ever-present grin bright despite the tension in the room.

Chopper glanced up from where he was kneeling beside Zoro, who lay unconscious on a makeshift bed of old, tattered blankets. “Oh! Thanks, Luffy!” he said, his voice tinged with both relief and exhaustion. Y/N sat next to him, his eyes flickering between Zoro’s pale face and the rest of the crew.

“How is he?” Usopp asked, his usual bravado replaced by genuine concern.

Chopper’s ears drooped slightly as he checked Zoro’s bandages. “I’ve never seen him in such bad shape,” he admitted, his tone grim. “He was barely clinging to life when I got to him. Something must have happened while we were all knocked out.”

Robin crossed her arms, her brow furrowed as she leaned against the wall. “Yes, it’s hard to believe the tyrant would simply vanish without a reason,” she mused.

“And Luffy and Y/N’s quick recovery is… unusual, to say the least,” Usopp added, glancing suspiciously at Y/N, who was helping Luffy drag one of the heavy sacks toward the corner.

“Don’t look at us!” Luffy laughed, his carefree nature shining through as always. “We can’t explain it either!”

Y/N, however, didn’t share his lightheartedness. His expression was distant, his mind clearly replaying something none of the others could see.

“We know what happened! We saw it all!” one of Lola’s pirates piped up, his voice breaking through the heavy atmosphere.

“We were there from start to finish! Let us tell you!” another pirate chimed in eagerly, their excitement at odds with the solemnity of the moment.

Before they could say more, Y/N’s sharp glare silenced them. His eyes darkened with intensity, and without a word, he grabbed both pirates by the collars and began dragging them toward the castle’s open doorway.

“Come,” Y/N said tersely, his voice low but commanding. Sanji, who had been watching silently, stubbed out his cigarette and followed.

“Huh? Y/N?” Luffy called out, confusion flickering across his face as he stepped forward.

“Hey, what gives?” one of the pirates yelped as Y/N forced them to sit down on a pile of rubble just outside the castle. “You two were so cool back there! You said, ‘Take me instead!’”

“Shut up,” Sanji snapped, his tone biting. He crossed his arms and fixed the pirates with a cold stare. “After we blacked out... What happened?”

One of the pirates, now subdued, hesitated before speaking. “The warlord guy… He had this insane power. He put his hand on Straw Hat… and then on Wind Demon.” The pirate gestured toward Y/N, his voice trembling slightly. “It was like… he pulled out all the damage you two had taken. All the pain, all the suffering you’d endured.”

Y/N’s head snapped up, his eyes narrowing. “Damage?”

The pirate nodded. “Yeah. He said it was all the pain you and your captain carried. And when your swordsman buddy touched even a fraction of it...” He trailed off, shuddering at the memory. “He screamed like I’ve never heard anyone scream before.”
