CHAPTER 7🌪️

Moonpaw was clueless right now, she did not know what to do, so many weird things were happening, like Marbleflower's prophecy mabob 'murder them, murder them all' WHAT WAS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?! And why was Pearlpaw being so BOSSY and RUDE! As Moonpaw trotted to give Spinelfoot his meal, she bumped into Shimmerpaw.

"Hey, watch it," she snapped.

Moonpaw rolled her eyes and continued, she made sure to trip Shimmerpaw with her tail as she went. Then she padded towards the elder's den and she set down the mouse in front of Spinelfoot and backed up watching him bite into the mouse, the scent of fresh-kill filling her nose.

Moonpaw decided to go visit the nursery since life was SO boring and she did not know what to do, she had heard that Graniteheart had her kits. She sighed as she padded into the nursery. Emerldkit and Tormalinekit were having this play-fight, they were tumbling all over each other.

"HAI YA!" Tormalinekit meowed, jumping on Emerldkit's tail. Emerldkit growled and tried to free her tail

"Hey guys," Moonpaw tried to sound cheerful.

"Moonypaw!" Emerldkit announced. "EVERYBODY MOONYPAW'S HERE!"

Oh dear Moonpaw thought as all the kits came out and pounced on her.

"MOONYPAW?" Shinekit peeked from under the pile of moss.

"Moonypaw, Moonypawy!" Tormalinekit cried happily, tugging on Moonpaw's tail.

Well, THIS was NOT HELPING with my HEADACHE! Moonpaw thought grumpily.

"Moonpaw?" A voice called out.

Saphirestream poked out her head.

"Hi, I heard Graniteheart had her kits," Moonpaw explained.

"Oh yes! You should meet them, they're adorable!" Saphirestream brightened.

"How many kits did she have?" Moonpaw asked.

"Three, Crystalkit, Lolitekit, and Lavakit,"

"Those are some really nice names." Moonpaw commented.

"Yeah. Oh and Crystalkit is even slightly a blue cat!," Saphirestream told her.

"Ooo," Moonpaw meowed.

"They are in the other den." Saphirestream motioned to a nearby den with her paw.

"Thank you!" Moonpaw called back as she trotted into the den.

"Moonpaw? Is that you?" meowed a voice.

"Graniteheart!" Moonpaw mewed happily. "Are these your kits?"

Graniteheart purred. "Yes, this is Crystalkit, Lolitekit, and Lavakit."

"Aww. They're so cute!" Moonpaw meowed.

Lolitekit let out an adorable mew.

"MOONPAW!! WHERE ARE YOU?" Moonpaw heard Coralpaw calling her. Lavakit craned his neck to face the sound, then the three kits backed up to their mother nervously.

"Oh, oops, I got to go! Coralpaw wil shred my ears if I keep her waiting, not that she can of course," Moonpaw mewed. "Bye Graniteheart, Lolitekit, Crystalkit and Lavakit!"

"All right, have a nice day," Graniteheart dipped her head in farewell, and slightly amusement.

Moonpaw bounded out of the den and over to Coralpaw who was waiting for her.

"What were you doing in there?" Coralpaw asked suspiciously.

"Visiting the kits, what else?" Moonpaw answered, rolling her eyes.
