"A lot of moons ago, when I was a young warrior myself with both Snowshine and Olivineflower. By then Rosepelt or you may know her as Rosestar was deputy at that time, and Glimmerstar was leader then, Olivineflower and Snowshine were my best friends," Rubystar started.

"They were your BEST FRIENDS?!" SIlverpaw meowed with wide eyes. Rubystar nodded.

"Yes, but they were also great trouble-makers, Glimmerstar was always getting them in trouble, I remembered how Glimmerstar use to look at them, like they were going to end the world, I was not included in their pranks and jokes, I was always the quiet good cat that followed orders, although we were best friends we started to split up, until one day they came up to me, Olivineflower had told me her secret, she said that she was secretly meeting with a young Stormclan warrior, Tempestclaw, I knew they were planning one of their jokes again, I didn't know what to say, so I didn't say anything, I kept her secret, then one day, Snowshine was in a big rush, I asked her what was happening but she didn't have time to reply, I sat in silence thinking, a few moments later Snowshine came in the den carrying two young kits, Olivineflower came in after her with a two other, I was really confused so I asked, that's when I realized those were Olivineflower's kits! Snowshine and Olivineflower didn't know where to put them, so they decided to bring them back, however they didn't know that someone was half-spying on them,"

"Spying on them! Who was it?" Coralpaw blurted out. Rubystar looked at her.

"Two of the most loyal to Glimmerstar, Turquioseclaw and Apatitetail," Rubystar answered.

"Bloodstar and Darkheart were loyal to Glimmerstar?'' Coralpaw gaped.

"Bloodstar and Darkheart! Tigerpaw exclaimed. "But they're in Deathclan! Not Gemclan!"

"They didn't tell you?" Moonpaw meowed in surprise. "They were in Gemclan before,"

"Oh, that's...weird," Tigerpaw muttered to himself.

"Anyway, they reported it back to Glimmerstar, Glimmerstar was raging with anger, she confronted Olivineflower and Snowshine stood up for her, then Glimmerstar banished them from the clan," Rubystar finished. Moonpaw's head was whirling.

"But Tigerpaw said...that Olivineflower and Snowshine joined Deathclan," Moonpaw meowed in confusion.

"Right, they told me that too, they said they wanted revenge on Glimmerstar, however they did not know that Glimmerstar had died and that Rosestar was leader, and I was deputy, they missed their chance to come back, but Bloodstar and Darkheart were worse, eventually when I was leader, they came back," Rubystar explained.

"But...but can we trust them?" Tigerpaw asked. "I mean...they DID join Deathclan, like um, my point is that they could've joined Oceanclan or something," Rubystar nodded. "Yes, that's what I thought too,"

"So can we trust them?" Silverpaw mewed.

"Well we just have to wait to see," Rubystar sighed. "And Coralpaw, we will not be attacking Stormclan, I think Hurricanepool was lying,"

"thank starclan." Coralpaw mewed.

Rubystar nodded.

" Anyways enough for today, go and follow your schedules, Moonpaw you will be training with me today, the others go hunt for some fresh-kill, we're almost out," Silverpaw, Tigerpaw and Coralpaw nodded and headed out of the den.

"What will we be doing today?" Moonpaw asked Rubystarhas they padded out of the den.

"Today, you and I will be joining a special patrol," Rubystar answered. "Diamondstripe! I will be out with a patrol, would you mind organising the camp while I'm away?"
