"Oh look! She's waking up!" Moonpaw heard the sound of scurrying paws and several faces came into view. Everything was blurry, Moonpaw blinked a few times.
"W-where am I?" She asked the strange cats. The cats exchanged looks and Moonpaw Jumped up to her feet and looked around. It was a cave, a very dark cave lit by the few torches on the wall.
But how did she get here?
"Where am I!?" She mewed more forcefully this time.
It was a silver-pelted cat that answered her. "Trapped by Deathclan," she answered mournfully. Moonpaw recognized her.
"Dolphinpaw," Moonpaw breathed. She nodded.
"Where is the entrance of this cave? Can't we just walk out?" Moonpaw asked, although she already knew the answer .
"No, there is a rock pile blocked and a number of guards," A smaller cat answered, Moonpaw turned, it was Reefpaw, the cat Silverpaw had introduced to Moonpaw at her first gathering.
"Are all the Oceanclan apprentices here?" Moonpaw asked. Even if this was happening in Oceanclan, Moonpaw was sure that this rumor would make its way into Gemclan as well.
"No, just a few of them are here, some of the other clans are here too, other than Deathclan, of course,"
Moonpaw caught glimpses of the other cats' faces as a shimmer of light shined through a hole in the cave.
"Tornadostar!" Moonpaw gasped and ran over to a figure laying on the cold rock ground. The others followed her.
"Moonpaw?" Tornadostar's strong voice was coated with disbelief
"Tornadostar! How did they capture you? You're in Stormclan! " Moonpaw exclaimed. Obsidianclaw growled. "Bloodstar, she's planning on getting rid of all the powerful warriors in the clans and taking the territory herself, she asked for the alliance with Stormclan, as leader, I disagreed, but Hurricanepool, she's a strong cat, she also brought rogues into Stormcaln, and those rogues are loyal to her, she threatened that if nobody obeys her, she will bring them to Bloodstar to kill," His expression smoothed. "Only a few agreed,"
"They imprisoned the Stormclan cats who didn't agree with Hurricanepool's ally with Deathclan," A voice meowed. Moonpaw turned around to see Hailpaw hunched in a corner.
"Hailpaw! Wait, who else is in here?" Moonpaw asked. Hailpaw thought for a moment.
"Me,Tornadostar, Reefpaw, Cuttlepaw, Carnelienclaw, a kit and a few cats I don't know," She answered, mournfully.
"Carnelienclaw?!" Moonpaw meowed. "Where?"
Hailpaw shrugged, sitting down again. "You may have to spend some time searching, the cave is pretty big,"
Moonpaw nodded, gratefully and started to explore the dark, creepy tunnels.
"Carnelienclaw?" She called out, her voice echoed a few times.
A sudden movement made her look.
"Moonpaw?"
"Carnelienclaw!"
"What are you doing here?" Moonpaw asked. Carnelianclaw gave her a disapproving look.
"Did you think I came here myself?" He mused. Moonpaw frowned, why was her brother acting so funny.
"No... how did you get here?" Moonpaw asked again.
Carnelianclaw sighed. "I was hunting by the river that leads to Stormclan's territory when Hurricanepool and her patrol ambushed me,"
