" I didn't do it on purpose you know"
" huh"
" leave the party. I was just excited that I actually made the team and by the time I realized what I did. I figured y'all wouldn't want me around."
" I can't speak for the rest of the party but I want y...

The next day they were back at scoops, now that they had part of the code they needed to translate the rest. Robin stayed back to translate and man the counter. Jeremiah wanted to stay with her but Dustin begged him to go with him and Steve, Jeremiah couldn't find it in himself to tell him no.
So that brings him to know where he's crouched behind a plant with Dustin and Steve.
"Do you see anything?" Dustin asked while Jeremiah kept looking around to make sure no one who knew him was around.
"Uh, I guess I don't totally know what I'm looking for," Steve said as he looked around the mall with binoculars.
"Evil Russians," Dustin said as if it was the easiest thing to spot.
"Yeah, exactly. I don't know what an evil Russian looks like." Steve pointed out.
"Tall, blond, not smiling," Dustin told him.
Steve nods. "So Jeremiah?"
To which the boy in question turns around and gives Steve a dirty look. "I'm not even Russian. if I was an evil Russian I'd make sure to kill you first"
Steve scoffed. "I'd like to see you try"
"I don't know why you're pretending to be tough right now. Last time I checked you can't fight for shit. I can." Jeremiah told him with a smirk on his face.
"I can fight"
"No, you can't. I do recall last year when Billy knocked you out at the byers' house, don't you?"
Before Steve could say anything Dustin interrupted them. "Can you two stop fighting and focus?" Once he got their attention he continued. "As I was saying, look for earpieces, camo, duffel bags, that sort of thing."
"Oh, you've gotta be kidding me." Steve exclaimed.
The two younger boys look at him thinking he found something. "What?"
"Anna Jacobi's talking with that meathead Mark Lewinsky."
"If you're not gonna focus, just give me the binoculars," Dustin says with his hand out while Jeremiah groans and goes back to people-watching wishing he had stayed with Robin.
"Aw. Jesus Christ, whatever happened to standards? I mean, Lewinsky never even came off the bench." Steve complains ignoring the younger boys.
"Dude, you are the worst spy in history, you know that?" Dustin says as he takes the binoculars from Steve not caring that they are still around Steve's neck. "Besides, I don't even get why you're looking at girls. You have the perfect one in front of you"
Steve groans. "Seriously, if you say Robin again–" which causes Dustin to repeat her name over and over while Steve tells him no.
"No, man, she's not my type. She's not even... in the ballpark of what my type is, all right?"
