************************************Abhay sat at the pool's edge, his legs submerged in the cool water, a stark contrast to the turmoil brewing inside him. His gaze was fixed on the moon above, visible through the open glass window at the ceiling, its gentle light a reminder of the peace he couldn't find within himself.
The memory of his father's desperate eyes haunted him, a constant reminder of the pain he had inflicted. Abhay knew he shouldn't have spoken those words, but in that moment, they had seemed necessary, a reflection of the anguish he felt.
Yet, deep down, he knew he wasn't truly angry with his father. He was upset, yes, but it was a complex web of emotions, tangled with feelings of hurt, frustration, and disappointment. The way his father had reacted that day still lingered, a festering wound that refused to heal.
As he sat there, the water lapping gently at his legs, Abhay felt the weight of his emotions bearing down on him. He was trapped in a sea of uncertainty, unable to reconcile his feelings, unsure of to bridge the gap between him and his family....
He clearly remember that day....the day which changed his life forever...the night when he left Malhotra Mansion..
Flashback....
Three days passed since Mahima's tragic departure, leaving behind a trail of shattered dreams and irreparable loss. The Malhotra mansion was shrouded in an aura of sorrow, the family performed the pooja in the morning to ensure the peaceful repose of Mahima's soul.
Abhay lay in his room, his heart heavy with grief, his mind wrestling with the turmoil that had been brewing inside him. He yearned to join the family downstairs, to pay his respects, to bid a final farewell to the woman who had given her life to save his. But the anguish in Omkara's eyes, the pain and the blame, had left him paralyzed with fear.
Memories of Mahima's selfless love, her unwavering dedication, and her ultimate sacrifice haunted him. She had thought only of him, never once considering her own life, her own children. The weight of her love crushed him, making it hard to breathe, hard to exist.
With a deep breath, Abhay summoned the courage to face the pain, to confront the reality of his loss. He slowly made his way downstairs, each step feeling like a Herculean task, as if he was carrying the weight of his grief on his shoulders.
As he reached the corridor, the sight of Mahima's photo with garland overwhelmed him....unable to accept another loss.....But he knew he had to be there, for Mahima, for the love she showered on him in that 2 months ,for her memory, and for the sake of his own sanity.
