It was quarter past 6 in the evening, and the surroundings were rapidly succumbing to the darkness. Rishi sat in his car, his eyes fixed on the clock ticking away on his wristwatch. He had only ten minutes to return to Abhi, who had been cuddled up to him all day, cranky due to an injury and the medicines that came with it. Rishi didn't want to leave Abhi, but this meeting was equally important. So, with the excuse of buying Abhi's favorite chocolates, he had slipped away to the market area, leaving Abhi in the care of his wife and sister. He had parked his car in a deserted spot, far from the crowd, and waited for the person he was supposed to meet.

As he waited, Rishi's impatience grew. Abhay would be arriving at the mansion soon, and he needed to be back with Abhi. Moreover, he was here without any security, which was a cardinal sin in their line of business. Abhay always insisted on having security personnel accompanying them, but Rishi couldn't risk letting anyone know about his whereabouts and the purpose of this meeting. "Where the hell is he?" Rishi groaned in frustration, his eyes scanning the deserted road. The clock was ticking away, and he was about to call the person he was supposed to meet.

He took out his phone, but just then, a flashlight blinded him, shining directly on his face. Rishi covered his face with one hand, shielding his eyes from the intense light. The light flickered off, and a man emerged from the shadows, wearing a black mask and a hoodie. He crossed the road, his footsteps echoing in the silence, and approached Rishi's car. Rishi's instincts kicked in, and he instinctively pocketed his licensed gun, a precautionary measure he had learned to take in their line of business. Don't trust anyone, not even your shadows, was the mantra they lived by. Rishi, Yuvraj, and Abhay always carried licensed guns with them, a reminder of the dangers that lurked in every corner of their world.

The person he had come to meet was not someone he trusted, not even one percent. But to fulfill his plan, he had to take a chance, to give the benefit of doubt. As he stepped out of the car, the hooded person also reached him. The person took out an envelope and handed it to Rishi, who gently caressed it, as if it was very delicate. He kept it in his coat pocket and looked at the man, his eyes narrowing slightly.

The person spoke in a low, gravelly voice, "Don't you think you... your this act might cause trouble for you?" Rishi retorted back in sarcasm, "Don't you think you are being more loyal to AS than your master... this act of yours can backfire at you?" The person stayed quiet, not saying anything. After a pause, he spoke again, "Be careful... this can destroy your relationship with AS in seconds."

What AS is trying to save, this action of yours would destroy it in seconds, the person left unsaid....

Rishi's gaze locked onto the person, his eyes burning with a fierce determination. He knew that this moment, this decision, could be the turning point in his friend's life. He was ready to face the consequences, no matter how severe, if it meant bringing happiness back to Abhay's life. The weight of his friend's suffering had been crushing him, and he knew that he had to act.

As he stood there, the darkness of the night seemed to fade away, and all that was left was the burning desire to see his friend happy again. He thought about all the times Abhay had been there for him, about the sacrifices he had made, about the love and care he had showered on him and Yuvraj after their parents' passing. Abhay had been their rock, their guiding light, and Rishi knew that he owed it to him to do everything in his power to bring happiness back into his life.

Even if it meant hurting him, even if it meant going against his own interests, Rishi was willing to take that risk. He knew that Abhay would hate him for this, that he would feel betrayed, but Rishi was willing to face that anger, that hatred, if it meant that Abhay would finally find some peace, some happiness.
