Abhay sat in his cabin, immersed in discussions with his assistant about the upcoming projects and the necessary changes. He instructed his assistant to prepare envelopes containing bonuses for the office workers in celebration of Diwali. The festivities would include a small pooja, followed by a party in the afternoon, where workers and their families were invited. As Abhay outlined the details, his gaze drifted toward Rishi, who was enthusiastically overseeing the arrangements.

Abhay's thoughts, however, were elsewhere. The conversation with Rishi the previous night lingered, and he acknowledged the truth in Rishi's words. A growing sense of urgency compelled him to consider revealing the truth about Ranvijay's deeds to Yuvraj. Concealing the truth could jeopardize Ishu's safety, a risk he couldn't afford to take. As he gazed out the window, a faint smile crossed his lips, reminiscing about Diwali past. He recalled how as a child he would excitedly demand crackers, and how Anupriya would lovingly prepare sweets and create intricate rangoli designs. Abhay's heart swelled with nostalgia, remembering how he'd assist Anupriya in decorating their home.

But life had taken a drastic turn after Anupriya's passing. Diwali, once a vibrant celebration, had become a mundane day. Abhay's enthusiasm for the festival had waned, and even his birthday had lost its significance. The pain of his physical and mental trauma had driven him to immerse himself in work, seeking solace in the monotony of his daily routine. With no one to share the joy of celebrations, Abhay had become a spectator to the happiness of others...

As the days blended together, his routine became a never-ending cycle of work. He poured his heart and soul into the office, often forgetting the passage of time. Day and night, he toiled, seeking refuge in the monotony of his tasks. The world outside, with its vibrant colors and joyful celebrations, seemed to fade into the background as he immersed himself in his work.

On festivals and special occasions, Rishi, Yuvraj, and their loved ones would often attempt to coax him into joining the celebrations. They'd gather around his desk, their faces etched with concern and affection, pleading with him to take a break from his work and revel in the joy of the moment. Rishi's eyes would lock onto his, filled with a deep understanding and empathy, as if willing him to let go of his pain and join in the festivities.

Though his heart felt empty, and the thought of celebrating seemed like a hollow mockery, he'd oblige them, pretending to be happy. He'd put on a facade of joy, forcing a smile onto his face, and feigning enthusiasm, all for their sake. He'd allow himself to be dragged away from his desk, surrendering to their collective persuasion.

As they'd celebrate around him, their faces aglow with happiness, he'd watch from afar, feeling like a spectator to their joy. Though physically present with them all, he felt emotionally detached, his mind wandering to the memories of his past, to the loved ones he'd lost, and the pain that still lingered. The festivities were always a bittersweet reminder of all that he'd lost, and the happiness that seemed to elude him.

As Abhay's thoughts drifted away, lost in the labyrinth of his mind, his assistant Aman's voice brought him back to reality. But before Aman could utter another word, D'Souza burst into the cabin, his sudden entrance like a whirlwind, leaving no room for announcement or apology. Aman, sensing the tension, discreetly excused himself, leaving Abhay to face D'Souza's wrath alone.
