Omkara sat at the dining table, his brow furrowed in concern, as he repeatedly glanced at the entrance, waiting for his bhai & Ruhaan, to appear. But as the minutes ticked by, there was no sign of him. Omkara's agitation grew, his mind racing with worst-case scenarios.... thinking of the reason why his bhai took Ruhaan to the beach at an odd hour...He had been trying to reach Aarav on his phone, but his calls were going unanswered.Surbhi, who was busy preparing breakfast in the kitchen, noticed Omkara's distress and tried to reassure him. "Kyun pareshaan ho rha, aate hi honge dono," she said, setting the breakfast table with a flourish. But Omkara's anxiety only intensified as he glanced at the clock. "Itni der ho gyi hai, bhabhi. Aapne kaha tha they left around 3:30, aur ab 8 baj rhe hai. Bhai call bhi nhi utha rhe, jbse try kr rha hu," he said, his voice laced with worry.
Surbhi's expression turned sympathetic, and she sighed, her hands pausing in their task. When her husband told her he's taking Ruhaan to the beach in the middle of the night...as it was the time for Ruhaan to know what happened in the past...she had just handed his overcoat earlier, without asking any questions, trusting her husband's judgment. But now, as the minutes ticked by, she couldn't help but feel a sense of restlessness. How would Ruhaan react to the truth about his twin and his mother? Would he be able to handle it? She pushed the thoughts aside, reminding herself that she trusted Aarav to do what was right...for his brothers...who were not just brothers for him but were like his own children...
Just then, Abhijeet Rathore walked into the dining area, his eyes scanning the room. Omkara immediately stood up to greet his grandfather, holding the chair for him to sit.... Followed by Harsh too who came and sat in his place....Surbhi immediately served two of them...as Omkara would only it once his both brothers will be in front of him....and she acknowledged it....."Ruhaan kidhar hai, abhi tk utha nhi kya? Tabiyat theek hai na uski?" Abhijeet asked suddenly, his voice tinged with concern.
Surbhi opened her mouth to respond, but Harsh intervened, his voice flat and unemotional. "You don't need to worry about Ruhaan. I'm here to do that for my children," he said, his eyes fixed on his father....
"Mein toh bs"...Abhijeet tried to speak, but Harsh cut him off, his voice firm but controlled. "Breakfast ke baad driver aapko penthouse chodh aayega maine bol diya hai....." he said, without looking at his father. The tension in the room was palpable, and Harsh's words only seemed to add to the strain.
Omkara, sensing the unease, tried to intervene, his voice calm and soothing. "Itni jaldi kya hai..abhi toh aaye hai woh," he said, attempting to mediate between his father and grandfather. But Harsh was resolute, his expression unyielding. "Maine keh diya jo kehna tha Omi,
...he would be leaving in sometime..." he said, his tone brooking no argument...As Harsh stood firm in his decision, his mind was racing with thoughts of protecting his child, Abhay, from the toxic influence of his own father, Abhijeet. He had always been vigilant about shielding his child from the harm that Abhijeet's presence could cause, and he was determined to keep it that way. The memories of the past still lingered, a painful reminder of the mistakes he had made by allowing Abhijeet to be a part of their lives....
The week that Abhay had spent at Rishi's house with Ishaan had been a welcome respite, a temporary reprieve from the tension that Abhijeet's presence always seemed to bring. But now that Abhay was back,as he had woken up the moment when Abhay covered him with duvet but didn't reacted so as to not Abhay and himself awkward in the moment...his child himself was taking step towards him...now it was Harsh's turn and he knew that he had to take steps to ensure that his child was not exposed to the negativity that Abhijeet embodied. He couldn't bear the thought of Abhay being hurt or affected by his grandfather's actions, and he was willing to do whatever it took to prevent that from happening....and thus before stepping down he already made arrangements for his father to leave....
