************************************The pre-dawn darkness lingered, casting an eerie silence over the forest. The only sound was the distant chirping of crickets and the soft hum of the car's engine, now extinguished. Abhay stepped out of the vehicle, his eyes scanning the surroundings with an air of purpose. D'Souza followed, his instincts on high alert.
"This is not safe, Abhay... you shouldn't be here," D'Souza whispered urgently, his voice laced with concern.
Abhay's raised hand silenced him, his gaze fixed on a point to their right. D'Souza's eyes darted in the same direction, his hand instinctively reaching for his gun.
A figure emerged from the shadows, shrouded in a black hoodie, face obscured. D'Souza swiftly moved to shield Abhay, gun at the ready.
"Who are you?" D'Souza demanded, his voice low and menacing, as he edged forward.
The stranger raised his hands in surrender, but a sinister laugh escaped his lips, sending a shiver down D'Souza's spine.
"Easy, take it easy," the man said, his voice dripping with malice.
D'Souza advanced cautiously, gun trained on the stranger. But in a swift motion, the hooded figure drew his own gun, aiming it squarely at D'Souza.
"Aapko akele aane ko kaha tha na, maine, AS,"
(I told you to come alone, AS)
The stranger sneered, his eyes glinting with malevolence.
D'Souza's grip on his gun tightened, his finger hovering over the trigger. "Drop your weapon, now!" he commanded, his voice firm and authoritative.
The hooded figure chuckled, the sound sending a shiver down D'Souza's spine. "You think you're in control here D'Souza."
Abhay stepped forward, his eyes locked onto the stranger. "Kyun bulaya hai mujhe yaha?"
(Why did you called me here?)He asked, his voice low and even.
The hooded figure's gaze locked onto Abhay, a flicker of concern dancing across his face. "You're more courageous than I thought, AS. Or perhaps, more kind-hearted than required in this cruel world where even your own can turn against you." His voice dripped with an air of mystery.
With a sudden movement, the stranger lowered his gun, tucking it into his waistband. He stepped closer to Abhay, his eyes burning with intensity. "I called you here to deliver a message. You've been playing with fire till now, AS... and fire burns not just others, but also those who dare to trifle with it."
D'Souza's eyes narrowed. "Ho kaun tum ?"
(Who are you?)
The hooded figure's smile revealed crooked teeth, sending a shiver down D'Souza's spine. "You'll discover soon enough. But for now, let's just say... the game has resumed, and AS holds the key."
Abhay's expression remained inscrutable, but his eyes betrayed a hint of unease.
The stranger's voice dropped to a whisper. "They're planning something sinister, AS. Something that will consume everything in its path. You're the only one who can stop them... again."
As suddenly as he appeared, the stranger vanished into the darkness, leaving Abhay and D'Souza staring after him.
D'Souza's mind reeled. "AS, what's going on? Kaun tha ye?"
