***********************************As the attention of everyone shifted to the person standing beside Omkara, a wave of excitement washed over Ruhaan's face. His eyes sparkled with joy, and a bright smile spread across his lips. Harsh and Aarav, on the other hand, were taken aback by the sudden arrival of Abhijeet Rathore, their faces reflecting a mix of shock and surprise.
Ruhaan, who was standing beside Harsh, couldn't contain his excitement. A big smile crept onto his lips as he gazed at his grandfather, his eyes shining with adoration. "Dadaji!" Ruhaan chirped, his voice filled with delight, as he took a step forward.
Abhijeet's face lit up with a warm smile as he gazed at his youngest grandchild. He opened his arms wide, inviting Ruhaan into a tight hug. Ruhaan didn't hesitate, rushing into his grandfather's arms with a squeal of delight. Abhijeet engulfed Ruhaan in a warm, crushing hug, his eyes closing in joy as he breathed in the sweet scent of his grandchild.
As they hugged, Abhijeet whispered, "Kaisa hai mera baccha?" (How are you, my child?) Ruhaan buried his face deep into his chest, his small arms wrapped tightly around Abhijeet's waist. It was a rare moment of tenderness, one that Ruhaan savored deeply, his small heart overflowing with joy and affection. He had always been fascinated by his grandfather, Abhijeet, who seemed to be a mystery wrapped in an enigma. Ruhaan didn't know why his grandfather didn't stay with them, why he only visited them a few times a year, and even then, only for a brief week.
The air was always thick with tension whenever Abhijeet came to visit. Omkara was the only one who seemed to welcome him with open arms, while Harsh and Aarav kept their distance. On one hand where Harsh looked distant, his eyes clouded with a mixture of emotions that Ruhaan couldn't quite...On the other hand....Aarav,used to remain even more aloof, his face a mask of indifference whenever Abhijeet was around.
Ruhaan had always sensed that there was more to the story, that there were secrets and lies that lingered just beneath the surface. He had tried to ask Aarav about Abhijeet, but he had always brushed him off, his expressions stern and unyielding even at the mention of Abhijeet....Omkara was the only one who had ever spoken to him about Abhijeet, but even he had been vague, his words laced with a deep sadness that Ruhaan couldn't quite understand.
As Ruhaan hugged his grandfather tightly, he felt a deep connection to him, a sense of belonging that he couldn't explain. He knew that Abhijeet's visits were always fleeting, that he would leave soon, and Ruhaan would be left with more questions than answers. But for now, he just wanted to savor this moment, to hold onto the love and affection that his grandfather was offering him...
As they stood face to face, Abhijeet's hands instinctively reached out to cradle Ruhaan's face, his thumbs tracing the contours of his son's features. His eyes, brimming with love and adoration, locked onto Ruhaan's, and for a fleeting moment, the world around them melted away. The gentle caress, the tender gaze, all spoke of a deep-seated affection that Abhijeet had longed to express.
As he turned his attention to Harsh, his eyes searched for a glimmer of warmth, a spark of affection. But Harsh's gaze was icy, his eyes flashing with a mix of anger and resentment. Abhijeet's heart ached as he realized that his son's animosity towards him remained unchanged. The worry etched on his face, the deep lines and creases, all bore testament to the turmoil that had been brewing within him.
