Chapter 27

Get the tissues ready

Aaron's PoV.

I've been on edge since I told Aurora about aura and she left to 'deal' with Adam.

I don't know how Aurora's brain works fully yet but I know that by "deal" she really means 'beat a bitch up'.

I'm not ready to present my baby girl to the world, she's been through enough already and she's only 1, yes, she'll be two in a couple months, but I don't want the world to know about her. Not yet anyway, I can't risk what happened to Aurora happening to her. If I lose her I lose me.

I need to figure this out, maybe it's time I man up and tell my family about her.

It's been three days and none of us have heard from Aurora. All of my brothers are going psycho, mama's crying none stop and papa hasn't been home since, he went on a killing spree last night, and from what the guards that max have spying on him, he's not doing too well.

He finally came home about an hour ago where he showered and we all sat and ate dinner. Max has been on edge since she went missing and I'm worried about him, he doesn't cope well when he's worried about someone especially his favourite sister.

My thoughts are blocked when a phone shrieks in the silence of the house. I turn to see whose it is to see everyone looking at me. Digging into my pocket I check my phone to see who it was.

I don't recognise the called ID so I go to ignore it but a nagging feeling in the pit of my stomach tells me to answer it.

"Aaron"

My heart skips about 50 beats.

"AURORA WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN" I nearly enough scream

She ignores me and answers "I'm an hour away. I want aura there by the time I'm home. I don't care if the family don't know about her, make up an excuse, I want to see her infront of me and make sure she's safe" she says in a tone that makes me flinch.

My eyes well up but not because of what she's asking for, because of her dead tone. She's closing up, just like how Ronan and Roman did.

I stand up and in a fit of fury I fist my hand and smash it against the closest wall, "fuck!" I whisper shout.

Getting my phone back out ignoring the heavy gazes staring into the back of my head, "bring her to me" I say quickly into the phone

"What? Are you sure?" Benny, my best friend, answers

"If I wasn't fucking sure I wouldn't have asked, bring her to me you have 15 minutes" I say trying and failing to stay calm.

I turn to my family, "I will answer your questions but until Rory returns I won't be speaking, let's sit in the living room" I say.

After heading to the living room and my ignorant brothers asking questions which I, like I said, didn't answer. The front door knocked.

I got up and opened it as fast as lightning thinking it was my baby sister, instead I'm nearly pushed over by a small force on my legs "DADDY" my little girl shouts as she latches onto me. I pick her up and kiss all over her face "hey baby" I whisper as I place my head on hers and she pinches my cheeks. "What am I doing ere dada" she questions, considering she's only one she has a mouth on her, she doesn't stop asking questions just like her auntie she's very enquisitive and I have no doubt she's going to be a powerful woman one day. "Oh yeah I'm not here don't worry I can feel the love" Benny says with an eye roll and sarcasm dripping from his tone

"Shut up dick and get inside" I whisper so aura doesn't hear me

"Ok baby, your gonna meet your uncles and grandparents now okay?" I say and she nods snuggling into my neck.
