TOM'S POV:

It's been 2 weeks. The case has been finalized and will not be an issue held in court. Said Taylor was an adult most of the time through our relationship so they decided to let it be. Besides, I'm not much older than her. 7 years isn't that big of a difference. Maybe it is, but some people have relationships that are 10+ years apart. All that matters is that Taylor had been expelled, and I lost my fake teaching license—which honestly, I couldn't care less about. Oh, and we have finished our research about John. Which only means one thing.

"Boss, are you sure?" My worker spoke to me as he drove the car towards the destination.

I slid one of the black plastic gloves onto my hand, ensuring it fits me. My eyes flew to him for a second before I looked away. "What, do you doubt me, Nolan?" I spoke my eyebrows furrowed.

Nolan shook his head. He seemed like a scared cat. I had asked him to give me company while I do my job and he immediately said yes. I hadn't even told him what I was going to do, until now. He didn't seem so sure about it. "What if they find the body?" He spoke, his green eyes meeting mine for a second before they fixated back on the road.

I chuckled shaking my head. A smirk stood on my lips. "I want them to find the body. I'll leave the pictures on his dead flesh for everyone to know what kind of a person he was." I spoke darkly, my tone deep and stern. I was going to murder John Smith. Why, you may ask. I don't like unfair people. Yeah, I may be unfair myself but this man is on a whole other level. Fraud, bribery, stealing. His criminal record is surprisingly empty. Which I can do with a bunch of money too. But behind his printed record stands an actual record which is usually hidden from the public. A bunch of hackers and some money changed that for me.

"What if they find out that it was you?" Nolan spoke his tone filled with a pinch of worry.

"Bill will bail me out of jail."

"You hate him-"

"We're in this together, Nolan." He caused problems for both of us. He scammed and stole from Bill while he kept gaslighting me. I hate it when people do that.

Nolan let out a sigh. He's a pussy. While Nolan looks like he'd beat the shit out of somebody with his broad shoulders, big muscles, and that cold stare on his face he's actually a softie. Maybe that's why I brought him with me. To scare everyone that'll look our way. "Why not just.. kidnap him or something? Hire a hitman?"

"It's more fun this way." I slid the other glove onto my right hand. A creepy smirk stood on my face. I liked to kill people. It's like this weird, psychotic habit that I have. Pools of blood and those weird-looking slices of flesh just give me some type of satisfaction. It riles me up. Excites me.

Nolan shot me a side glance. "Whatever you say, boss." He spoke making a turn. The car drove into a rich street on which I owned a house, at the very end of it on top of a big hill. It was in a private place where light didn't reach due to the forest surrounding it.

I bent down a little grabbing the gun that stood between my legs. It was a pretty expensive Cabot gun. Around fifty thousand to a hundred thousand euros. "Cops," Nolan warned me. I dropped the gun and kicked it under the seat looking up.

My eyes followed the cops as they stood on the side of the road staring at our expensive car. I always loved having Bentley as my company car. The policemen watched us closely. Arms crossed over their chest as they leaned against the police car. One of them pointed our way before the other raised a hand in a come here motion.
