He had to admit it:

Cerise was right.

The boyfriend and girlfriend labels felt different. It looked different too.

"So they asked if I wanted to go to their sorority party, and I was like 'Ooh, sorry, can't. I have plans with my boyfriend'," Cerise gushed, her dimples deep as she raised her tone to sound like a valley girl, "I've always wanted to say it like that."

She was flaunting the title around like a diamond ring, and Saint thought she was thoroughly adorable.

"Okay, I have to head to my next class now," Cerise said with a pout, "I'll see you in a few hours."

"See you, baby. Try to pay attention, yeah?" Saint said with a grin as he walked along the sidewalk.

"No promises. Bye, boyfriend," she giggled, twiddling her fingers at the screen before ending the call.

Saint shook his head, a smile on his face as he walked into the parlor.

A few hours sounded like forever, but he had to persevere through.

"This fool is still grinning," El piped up from the couch as he spotted Saint.

"It's kind of terrifying," Noah added, catching the stress ball he was tossing in the air.

"Leave him alone!" Chiaki yelled from the storage closet, "Keep smilin', Izzy. I'm winning the bet."

Saint rolled his eyes, the smile disappearing as he walked past the waiting area.

Unfortunately, he had to come in early. Valentine's Day was tomorrow, and they were having another flash special today.

They would wish that smile was there once that phone started ringing nonstop.

"It's been two weeks, it's still fresh," Alex added from behind the receptionist desk.

"Oh please," El scoffed, "They've been practically married since Halloween."

"I'm about to leave," Saint said.

"Sorry," they all said simultaneously, not wanting him to leave them to struggle with clients.

"What are you going to do for her tomorrow?" El asked nosily.

"As if I'd tell the biggest mouth in the room," Saint muttered, "Any surprise would be spoiled within minutes."

"Not true," Elliot tried to defend himself.

"So true," the others said, laughing as El threw his hands in the air.

"Geez, guys. What lovely friends I have," El clapped sarcastically, before his eyes landed on the container in Saint's hand, "Whatcha got there?"

"It's for her," Saint said slowly, "Touch it, I break your hands. You too, Noah. Clear?"

El raised his hands, "Crystal, Jesus."

"Aye aye, Captain," Noah saluted.

Saint gave them one last glance before he walked to place the container away.

The container wasn't a part of his Valentine's Day plans for Cerise, it was just something he knew she'd like. He couldn't wait to see the way her face lit up when she saw it.
