Chapter 6

AFTER PRESENT MIC had dismissed us, we had to change into something else so, I began to walk around to find the women's changing room. After a few minutes of walking I finally found it and saw there were quite a few girls already in there.

As I started to make my way to a nearby bench, I couldn't help but notice a girl with bubblegum pink skin and a messy pink hair with yellow horns sticking out. I had to admit she looked cute. I then laid down my backpack and began to undress and change into the outfit I had already planned at home.

Suddenly, I heard the footsteps of someone walking towards me. I glanced up to find myself staring into the wide, curious eyes of a young woman. She had a kind but curious expression on her face as she looked at me.

"Is there something on my face?" I said confused as I touched my face.

"No girl!! It's just that you look really pretty! My name is Mina Ashido! It's nice to meet you!" Ashido said excitedly.

"I'm Y/n L/n, it's nice meeting you too Ashido!" A smile forming on my face.

"Please call me Mina! You're my girls girl now so call me by my first name."

"Really? Okay then Mina. I guess it's only fair if you call me by my first name as well."

"Woah really?!" Her eyes sparkled with excitement as she locked eyes with me.

"Yes really now we might get left behind, are you ready to go?"

She nodded in agreement. "You're right! Let's go!" practically bouncing on her feet.

After arriving at our destination I noticed that the gates were actually huge. I didn't notice Mina starting to sweat next to me and looked anxious.

I know I didn't look any bettter though. My face may have looked fine but inside my brain it was filled with all sorts of thoughts.

How many villains can I defeat?

Could I collect enough points in time?

What if I lose?

I can't lose, I made a promise to myself that I would become stronger and this is my first step of achieving that goal.

I looked over again to see Mina still looking anxious as ever and fiddling nervously with her fingers.

I placed my hand on her shoulder and she jumped a little in surprise as she turned her attention to me.

"Hey," I said , my voice confident and reassuring. "Don't worry. You'll do great. You got this, okay?"

As my words sunk in, a small smile graced Mina's lips. Her once tensed shoulders started to loosening up and loose some of their stiffness. She took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. Feeling some of her tension slowly fade away.
