THE HALLWAY WAS filled with the chaotic sounds of students yelling and shouting, pushing each other, desperately trying to make their way to the exit.

It was a total mess.

"What do we do?!" I shouted over the noise, hoping that my friends could hear me over the commotion.

Just then, I was pushed from behind by someone in the crowd, causing me to stumble and nearly lose my footing.

Fortunately, a firm hand on my shoulder quickly steadied me, keeping me from falling over.

As I gained my balance, I looked over my shoulder to see who had helped me. Sure enough, standing right behind me was Todoroki, his hand still on my shoulder.

Todoroki looked at me, his expression neutral but his eyes filled with slight concern. "You alright?" he asked, his voice calm and composed.

"Todoroki," I exclaimed, surprised.

When did he even get behind me?

I nodded gratefully. "Yeah, I'm fine," I said, a small smile tugging at the corners of my mouth. "Thanks for helping me."

Todoroki gave a slight nod, his hand moving from my shoulder to my wrist, making sure I wouldn't go falling again.

The students were still pushing and shouting, the noise and chaos continuing. Suddenly, I saw Iida floating and spinning towards the exit.

What the

I watched in surprise as Iida continued to spin until he landed on top of the door frame, striking a pose that resembled an emergency exit sign.

Iida's voice cut through the noise, "Everyone, listen up!" he shouted, his voice firm and clear. "Everything's okay! It's just the media outside. There is absolutely nothing to be worried about. Everything's fine!"

Iida continued his speech, his eyes scanning the crowd of students. "We're U.A students," he declared,"We need to remain calm and prove that we are the best of the best!"

The students gradually quieted down, their shouting and pushing slowly coming to a halt as they turned their attention to Iida's speech. The hallway grew unexpectedly calm as everyone listened intently to the Iida's words.

I sighed, finally no more pushing. I turned to look at Todoroki and I saw him looking up at Iida - still holding onto my wrist.

"Uh, Todoroki?" I said, looking down at where he was holding onto my wrist. "Can I have my arm back please?"

"Oh," Todoroki said, realizing that he was still holding onto my wrist. "I didn't notice."

He looked down at his hand, wrapped around my wrist, as if noticing it for the first time. He slowly let go, his hold loosening.
