AFTER HALF AN HOUR filled with lighthearted side games and embarrassing yet somewhat fun cheerleading, it was time for the final rounds of the Sports Festival to begin.

Students have to face off each other in an arena in the middle of the stadium created by Cementoss. You'll have to use your quirk and physical abilities to defeat, immobilize, or push your opponent out of bounds. The last student left standing in the arena moves onto the next round.

I sat in between Uraraka and Yaoyorozu in the stands. The first match was Midoriya and Shinso. I was a bit nervous for Midoriya as I never fully saw Shinso's quirk or what he was capable of during the calvary battle or the obstacle race.

For whatever reason, Uraraka looked visibly nervous from beside me. She was fidgeting with her fingers looking down.

"Hey, Uraraka?" I called out softly, "You alright?"

"H-huh? O-oh yes!" She replied looking back at me, laughing nervously.

"Are you sure?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows. She didn't seem good as a sweat formed on her forehead.

"Just nervous about my upcoming match is all!"

Come to think of it, I didn't get to check who she was going up against. "Who are you going up against?"

Uraraka hesitated, still fidgeting with her fingers. "I'm going up against Bakugo..." she said quietly facing the arena, the word Bakugo slipping out like a whisper.

'Bakugo? She's going against Bakugo? Crap...talk about bad luck...' I thought, internally cringing with worry.

My heart starting to race a little faster, and a mix of concern and empathy filled my chest. I realized how intimidated Uraraka must be feeling. I knew I couldn't add to her anxiety so I tried my best to make her feel better.

I offered a reassuring smile and reached out to clasp her hand offering what I hoped was a comforting expression. "Hey, you got this Uraraka" I said, trying to inject confidence in my voice.

"Bakugo is tough, but so are you. You've trained hard, and you know your strength. I believe in you, even more than you believe in yourself right now! I'll be rooting for you, no matter what happens. I know you'll do your best."

Uraraka looked at me, hope gleaming in her eyes. "Do you really mean that?"

I squeezed her hand gently, "With all my heart."
