HERE I WAS, standing at the door of my internship. Iida and I had already parted our ways as soon as we entered Hosu City. He had been unusually quiet on the train when I tried to make conversations, he would just reply with small short responses. I felt like I should've went with him, but there was nothing I could now.

I shook my head, attempting to shake off any other thoughts. My heart was pounding in my chest accompanied by all sorts of emotions, anxiety obviously being the primary one. "Okay, deep breath" I muttered to myself. I took a deep breath, attempting to steady my nerves.

Before I could hesitate any longer, I reached out and knocked on the door, the sound of my knuckles against the door was louder than I expected.

I quickly brought my hand back to my side. I waited, listening carefully for any sign of movement or someone approaching from within.

'What if they don't find me worthy?'

Or what if I mess up everything and embarrass myself?! I do have a habit of embarrassing myself some times without even knowing...'

My mind began filling itself with negative thoughts, each one of them being more discouraging than the last.

Just as I was lost in my thoughts, the sound of the doorknob turning drew my attention. The door opened and a female that appeared to be in her early twenties stepped in the doorway. She had jet - black hair and vibrant green eyes that had surprise filled in them.

"L/n?" the female said excitedly, "You finally made it!"

I was taken back by her cheery tone, not expecting such a warm greeting from her.

"H-hey, um, Stealth, right?" I said, giving a small, nervous, smile.

She returned my smile with a friendly nod, "Yep, that's me" she confirmed, her green eyes fixed on my nervous expression.

She stepped aside slightly, gesturing me to enter, "Please, come on in," she said, her voice still brimming in excitement.

I stepped into the room, my eyes instantly scanning around the place. The interior of Stealth's office was neat and organized, with a few framed photos of - who I assumed were her family members and multiple awards neatly displayed on the walls. My nerves began to ease, replaced by a growing sense of respect for the woman standing behind me.

"You don't need to be nervous, y'know. I don't bite" I heard her say as she closed the door and walked to stand beside me.

I let out a slight chuckle at her words, feeling a bit relaxed in her presence. "Yeah, I know. It's just.." I trailed off, not knowing how to express my jumble of thoughts.

Stealth nodded understandingly, "I get it. I was a newbie once too. It's natural to be nervous especially at a big opportunity like this."
