I COULD HEAR THE audiences loud cheers for Todoroki as Midnight declared Todoroki the winner. I doubled over to catch my breath, I could feel my energy levels going down. I looked back up to face Todoroki as he was looking at something - or rather someone in the stands. He must of catched me glancing at him in his peripheral view as he looked back at me.

Todoroki's gaze met mines, his cool expression betraying no signs of emotion whatsoever. How the hell does he cover up his emotions so well? He studied me for a bit, his eyes seeming to pierce right though me as if trying to figure out what I was thinking or feeling.

Feeling a little self conscious under his intense, I quickly composed myself and stood up straight.

He made his way towards me. His eyes still holding a dull expression but I swear I could see something different in them. Was it surprise? Admiration? Whatever it was, it was gone in an instant, replaced once again by his signature cold expression.

"You put up a good fight" Todoroki said, his voice quieter than usual.

As Todoroki spoke, I tried to focus and respond, but my head was throbbing and my vision was starting to blur. I took a deep breath; trying to stabilize myself, but the world seemed to spin faster around me.

I could hear Todoroki's voice calling out to me, but it sounded a bit hazy. "L/n? Hello? Can you hear me?"

Suddenly, I felt myself falling but not before a strong pair of arms catched me before I could hit the ground. "I got you." I heard him say.

His voice was the last thing I could hear and all I could see was darkness and then; Nothing.

"It's game night guys!" I shouted, sitting at the mini table that sat in the middle of the living room and holding a deck of uno cards in my hands.

"Already?" my dad questioned, washing his hands in the kitchen. "It seems like a month goes by so quick."

"Time really does fly,"  my mom added, placing a hand on my dad's shoulder. "But I love game nights! They always bring us closer together as a family."

And she was right. Even though game nights only happened once for month, they always tried to make time for our family even with their busy schedules of work.

They both sat down and I shuffled the cards and gave each of us eleven cards. I placed the first card from the deck in the middle of the table.

"Can we stack?" my dad asked, looking at both of us with a smile.
