Lex's POV:

I sat at the table with the Danielle as the boys and Priyanka danced with Alena and Valentina. "I think you have a secret admirer." I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at her. "Huh?"

She nodded her head towards the dance floor. "Joe hasn't taken his eyes off of you since he left the table." My cheeks grew red. "I think that's exaggerating." She laughed and placed her hand on mine. "He likes you, Lex. He never stops talking about you or asking about you. Go dance with him. At least give him that, even if you don't like him back."

Little does she know, we already shared a dance. The music turned slow and he made his way over to Dani and I. "Mind if I steal Lex for a dance?"

"Not at all. I was just telling her she should get out there." Our fingers laced together as he lead me to the middle of the tiles. "We meet again." My arms snaked his neck and I stepped a little closer. "This time we have an audience."

His hands slid down my back. "Does this dance mean you won't meet me in my room later?"

"It doesn't have to mean that. What's the number?" He leaned closer to my ear, sending chills down my arms and spine. "Room ——" His head turned in the opposite direction.

"Joe—- hate to bother you. I need your help!" Just like that he was gone.

The party was winding down and I found myself helping Priyanka clean up. "You and Joe looked cozy." I laughed at her and stacked some glasses. "We're friends. He asked to dance and I did."

"That man has feelings for you."

I rolled my eyes. "None that we have communicated about."

We finished up shortly after and I grabbed my purse to head home. I was nearly out of the room when a voice stopped me.

"Room 613. My room is 613. Please don't go home."

I turned around to Joe holding out his key card. "Wait for me there. I'm almost done helping Nick. Please, Lex."
