As soon as Kayla stormed off, Taylor felt a knot tighten in her stomach. Panic set in as she realized how furious Kayla was. Taylor's mind raced. She couldn't lose Kayla—not like this, not after everything they had been through. Kayla was all she had. Without a second thought, Taylor broke into a run, desperate to find her.

She searched frantically, checking every room, every hallway, growing more anxious with each passing moment. "Kayla!" she called out, her voice trembling. There was no answer. Her heart pounded louder with each step until she finally reached the stairs leading to the rooftop. She bolted up the stairs, her fear reaching its peak.

When she burst onto the rooftop, her breath caught in her throat. Kayla was standing near the edge, her face a mask of despair. For a terrifying second, Taylor thought she was going to jump.

"Kayla!" Taylor cried out, rushing toward her, her voice choked with fear. "Please, I'm sorry! I'm so, so sorry! I didn't know you were working here, and I didn't know you had feelings for Travis. Please, don't do this!"

Kayla turned slowly, her face still tear-streaked, but her eyes were calculating. Seeing Taylor's desperation, she hid a triumphant smile. This was her chance. She could use this to make sure Taylor stayed out of her way.

"You're sorry?" Kayla's voice was soft, almost fragile, as she looked down at the street below. "Sorry doesn't change anything, Taylor. I've always lost everything I wanted. Always. And now, the one thing I have left—the one person I can't live without—is Travis. If I lose him too... I just don't think I can go on."

Tears streamed down Taylor's face as she shook her head, horrified by the thought. "No, Kayla! You won't lose him! I'll make sure of it. I'll do anything—anything you ask. Just please, come away from the edge."

Kayla's eyes narrowed slightly as she gauged Taylor's sincerity. "Anything?" she repeated, her voice trembling as if on the verge of breaking. "Then promise me, Taylor. Promise me you'll leave Travis alone. Don't come between us. I've never asked you for anything before, but I'm asking you now. Please, let me have this one thing. I need him."

Taylor's heart shattered at the request, but she couldn't bear the thought of losing Kayla—or seeing her do something drastic. "Kayla," she whispered, her voice breaking, "I... I promise. I'll stay away from him. I'll tell him you're the one for him, I swear. Just please, don't do this. Don't leave me."

Kayla's expression softened, and she slowly stepped back from the edge, as if considering Taylor's words. But inside, she was triumphant. She had won. "You'll talk to him? You'll make him understand?"

"Yes," Taylor nodded fervently, her hands shaking. "I'll talk to him right away. I'll make sure he knows how much you care about him."

Kayla wiped at her tears, now feeling nothing but satisfaction as she descended from the ledge. "Good," she said with a small, satisfied smile. "Then go talk to him now. I'll be waiting."

Taylor nodded again, her face pale and strained, but there was no turning back now. As she hurried back down the stairs, her mind was spinning with thoughts of what she had just promised. She felt dejected, like a part of her was being torn away, but she couldn't let Kayla down. Not when she was this fragile.

Kayla watched Taylor disappear down the stairs, the smirk on her face widening into a full grin. She had played Taylor perfectly, just as she had planned. With Taylor out of the picture, nothing would stand between her and Travis. She took a deep breath, savoring the victory, and casually picked up the crumpled flowers she had thrown earlier.

Taylor hurried to Travis's cabin, her mind racing with the promise she made to Kayla. she needed to explain her actions to Travis. As she reached the cabin, she found Travis waiting, his face lighting up with a welcoming smile.

"Travis," she began urgently, "we need to talk. I've been thinking about what happened with Kayla, and I want to explain."

Travis leaned in to kiss her, but Taylor stopped him, her hands pushing gently against his chest. "Travis, we shouldn't be doing this while Kayla is here. It's not right."

Travis's expression shifted to confusion. "What are you talking about? Why can't we?"

Taylor took a deep breath, her voice trembling slightly as she spoke. "Kayla is right for you. She's also a surgeon, just like you. You both have a shared passion for your work. She's strong and confident, everything I feel I'm not. She's the one who fits perfectly with you."

Travis's face hardened, his confusion turning to anger. "And what does that mean for us? Are you telling me I should be with her?"

Taylor nodded, her heart heavy. "Yes. She deserves you. You both have similar goals and ambitions. I think you should choose her. She'll be a better match for you."

Travis's anger flared. He grabbed Taylor by the neck, pulling her close and kissing her fiercely. Taylor gasped, caught off guard by the intensity of his actions. Despite her initial shock, she found herself responding to his passionate kiss.

Travis's hands were rough as they began to undress her, his movements urgent and possessive. As he continued to kiss her, he removed her dress with a sense of aggression, his frustration evident in each action. Taylor was overwhelmed, caught between her concern for Kayla and the powerful physical connection she shared with Travis.

Without breaking their kiss, Travis bent Taylor over the table, his hands gripping her hips. His voice was a harsh growl as he spoke. "You have no right to choose who I want. We both want each other, and no one is going to stop us."

He slapped her clit firmly, each strike accompanied by his angry declarations. "You don't get to tell me what to do. I own you, Taylor. You can't make decisions for me, and you certainly can't tell me to go with Kayla."

Taylor cried out, the combination of Travis's possessive actions and her own emotional turmoil making her sob. She felt both pain and a deep, conflicted desire as Travis continued to assert his dominance. His growls and declarations only heightened her sense of being caught in a storm of passion and control. He kept slapping her clit until they were red and swollen.

Travis finally entered her from behind toying with her now swollen clit, his thrusts forceful and unrelenting. He kept thrusting inside her until he finally spilled his cum inside her, he made it clear what he wanted. "I can't do this with Kayla. Only you. You need to understand that, or I'll keep doing this until you do."

Afterward, Travis pulled away, he began reading through his files. "Get dressed and leave," he said coolly, as if nothing had happened. "I need to focus on my work now."

Taylor, still shaken and in tears, quickly dressed. The weight of the encounter settled heavily on her as she left the cabin, her mind reeling from the intensity of what had just transpired.
