Third POV
KUNOT ang noo ni Grant habang tinitingnan ang mga papeles sa kanyang lamesa.
Katatapos lang ng limang meetings niya at sumasakit na ang ulo niya. Busy siya sa pagpirma ng mga dokumento nang pumasok ang secretary niya.
"Sir, you have a visitor." Said the secretary with a hint of hesitation.
"Who is the visitor?" Grant asked, still not looking up from his papers.
"Sir, it's your mom, excuse me." Replied the secretary before leaving.
Moments later, Grant's mom entered with a wide smile. Her brows furrowed together because of her mother's expression.
What now?
"My son, I have news for you." His mom shouted as she approached him.
"Mom, what's going on? Why do you seem so excited?" Grant asked, confused.
"I have good news for you." His mom said as she placed an envelope on the table.
"Wait a minute, what is this?" Grant asked while opening the envelope.
As he opened it, a vein in his head throbbed when he saw pictures of Yenesia with another man. In the first picture, they were sitting and eating ice cream, in the second, they were hugging, and in the last one, they were kissing.
The heck?
"Mom, what does this mean? Is this fucking good news?" Grant shouted, confused and extremely angry.
Ngunit hindi napansin ni Grant na isa itong edit. Malawak na ngumiti ang mommy niya at sinabing. "That woman is not just fat, but also a cheater."
"Shut the fuck up. Mom, that might be wrong. I don't know her like that." Grant replied while trying to calm himself.
"What do you see here? Can you see how sweet she is with her man? And here you are working while your girlfriend is cheating on you." His mom responded, seemingly pleased.
"I don't fucking know anything about this , maybe Lou has an explanation." Grant defended himself while holding his head due to the pain.
"Explanation? What explanation? Do you see those pictures? They look happy together!" His mom replied, full of emotion.
"Mom, please, damn it, this isn't Lou." Grant said with increasing intensity as his voice gradually lowered.
"What more reason do you need? They both look happy together!" His mom replied again.
Grant stood up and walked around the office. "I need to know if this is true or not. Damn it, I don't want to be fooled without a good reason."
His mother's face showed concern. "Grant... I don't want you to get hurt. But as your mother, it's my responsibility to let you know who she really is."
"Mom, she's important to me." Grant responded.
Naramdaman niyang huminga nang malalim ang kanyang mommy bago nagsalita muli. "Sige... pero sana isipin mo hindi mo deserves ang babaeng yon."
Grant decided not to talk to Yenesia about the photos for now, he wanted to clarify first if she was really cheating. The headache that had been caused by stress and worry returned.
Damn this headache.
