8. The Morning After

It's a gentle morning light, the city of Udaipur unfolded before me like a canvas of gold nd crimson hues. The sun, a burning orange ember, slowly rose above the majestic Aravalli hills, casting a warm glow over the tranquil waters of Lake Pichola.

The air was alive with the sweet scent of blooming jasmine nd the soft chirping of birds, their melodies intertwining with the distant chime of temple bells. The misty veil of dawn lifted, revealing the stunning architecture of the City Palace, its intricate facades nd ornate turrets bathed in the soft morning light.

The morning light danced across the water, creating a dazzling display of shimmering diamonds nd ripples of molten gold.

The girl slowly opened her eyes, groaning as a severe headache hit her. She sat up, looking around the unfamiliar room.

She quickly scrambled out of bed nd made a dash for the door, her heart pounding in her chest

Oh my god, vaani what have you done? You were with a stranger, alone, in a room...what were you doing why you were on his bed who is he what he did with you?

She was talking to herself nd burst into her hotel room, locking the door behind her nd leaning against it to catch her breathes

Vaani: Okay, Vaani, calm down, think this through .but my mind is a complete blank what do I do now? (To herself)

Vaani slumped to the floor, tears streaming down her face as she desperately tried to recall the events of the previous night. But her mind was a complete blank. The more she tried to remember, the more her head spun.

Vaani: yeh sab kya kiya maine?   (Oh god, what have I done?) she sobbed, her body shaking with fear nd uncertainty.

As the tears flowed, her breathing became shallower nd her chest tightened. She felt like she was suffocating.

Vaani, calm down...breathe...just breathe.

Suddenly, a wave of dizziness washed over her, nd she felt like she was going to pass out. Her heart raced nd her vision blurred.

NOOOO! What's happening to me?! she screamed, her panic attack reaching its peak.

She hesitated for a moment before answering it, hoping it might be someone who could help her make sense of the chaos in her mind. But her eyes widened as she saw Shravni's name flashing on the caller ID. She quickly answered the phone, her voice shaking with emotion.
