She'll be okay..right?

Charlottes POV:

"Sibhoan,you check Roger's house,sorcha,you double check mias house and everyone else we will drive around to find her"
"Alright on it"

Sibhoan and sorcha go their separate ways to try and find Mia.
The rest of us all get into Marjorie's car as she drives us around.
Everyone is sat in the back whilst me and Marjorie are at the from.Shes driving and I'm in the passenger seat.
At this point, she completely forgets about the speed limit and crosses loads of red lights.
"Marjorie!"
"I'm sorry but I already lost one friend I'm not losing another"
"Wait, you never told me she was your friend"
"She doesn't know it but I actually don't mind her,especially after what's she's Been through. Everyone make sure you look out your windows,we're going on the motorway"

Sorchas POV:

"It's ok sorcha,she'll be fine."
I begin to talk to myself as I approach Mia's house.
I feel a shiver run down my spine as I walk inside.
I decide it's best to check the kitchen first as it's the closest room.
"Jesus, how does she keep such a clean house"
The counters are polished and the floors are shining.
My smile drops as I see some envelopes on the kitchen counter.

There was one addressed to Charlotte,Marjorie,Reece and all the staff members including me. I feel tears begin to fill my eyes as I know all to well the meaning behind these letters.
I decide to put them in my bag not including the one addressed to me.
I unfold it carefully admiring how gorgeous her handwriting was.

*START OF LETTER*

Dear sorcha,

I don't really know what to say in this letter apart from thank you.Thank you for everything.You made me realise that I can make friends.Even when everyone hated me ,even when I was horrible to you.You still have me a friendship I never wanted to loose.
Thank you for being such a great best friend. I would say I'll see you up there.But consider my past self,we all know where I'm going.

*END OF LETTER*

I fold the piece of paper up carefully holding it to my heart.
I let my tears fall into my hoodie as I fall to my knees.
My best friend was gone and there was nothing I could do.

Shibbys POV:

"Roger please just leave me alone!"
"No I'm sick of this sibhoan,you try walking in here all innocent after you ran away!"
"I'm sorry"
"You know what ,I'm going out I don't even want to look at you right now"
I wipe the tears away from my eyes and get up of the floor as he walks out the house.
I check every cupboard and closet.
I begin to give up when there is no sign of Mia.
Just as I'm about to carry on looking my phone rings.
I pick my phone up and answer it.
"She's gone sibhoan"
I feel my heart drop as my phone falls to the floor.

Charlottes POV:

As we're driving down the motorway we see loads of cars speeding.
My heart races at the dangerous amount of traffic.
Marjorie follows the cars to see where there all going.
"That explains it,look at that crash,must of been recent there's no ambulance or anything..wait a minute,is that Mia?!"
"Marjorie,pull over next to it now,Reece ring an ambulance!!"
We quickly pull over next to the crash and rush out of the car.
I sprint over to Mia whose head is cracked open and a dislocated arm.
"NOOO MIA!!"
Marjorie and Reece grab me by the arm trying to pull me away from the gruesome scene.
"NO SHES NOT DEAD,SHES STILL HERE,I KNOW IT!"
I try to escape their grasp but nothing works.
I eventually cave in and collapse in Marjorie's lap.
"Charlotte,breathe it's ok,it's ok my love"
"She said she would never leave me!"
All I can do is sob into Marjorie's arms trying to reach out to Mia but she pulls me back into the car.
She sits me down next to her as the paramedics take Mia away.
I turn around to Marjorie who's texting everyone to let them know.
"Marjorie?"
"Yes my love?"
"She'll be okay right?"
I watch as she stares out the window.
"I don't know"
